1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your new Electric Cordless Tea Maker Samovar. Please read these instructions thoroughly before first use and retain for future reference.

The Samovar features a double kettle design, combining a large glass kettle for boiling water and a smaller glass teapot for brewing tea. It is designed for convenience with a cordless base, automatic shut-off, and a keep-warm function.

2. Safety Information

Always observe basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

• Do not immerse the power base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the countertop.

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the appliance for any damage.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the 1.8L glass kettle with clean water to its maximum level. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues. Clean the 0.8L glass teapot and stainless steel filter with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be tripped over or pulled.
4. Assemble: Place the 1.8L glass kettle onto the power base. Ensure it is seated correctly.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Boiling Water

1. Fill the 1.8L glass kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the minimum (MIN) mark or above the maximum (MAX) mark.
2. Place the kettle securely on the power base.
3. Plug the power cord into a standard 110-120V 50/60Hz electrical outlet.
4. Flip the ON/OFF temperature switch to the "ON" position. The LED light indicator will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating.
5. The kettle will automatically shut off once the water reaches a rolling boil. The LED light will turn off.

5.2. Brewing Tea (Samovar Style)

1. After boiling water in the 1.8L kettle, remove the lid from the 0.8L glass teapot.
2. Add your desired amount of loose leaf tea into the stainless steel filter.
3. Carefully pour a small amount of the freshly boiled hot water from the large kettle into the teapot, just enough to cover the tea leaves. This creates a concentrated tea essence.
4. Place the teapot with the tea essence onto the top of the 1.8L kettle. The steam from the boiling water below will gently brew and keep the tea warm.
5. To serve, pour the concentrated tea from the teapot into your cup, then dilute to your preferred strength with hot water from the 1.8L kettle.

5.3. Keep Warm Function

The samovar is designed to keep water and tea warm at approximately 80-85 degrees Celsius (176-185 degrees Fahrenheit) after boiling. Once the kettle boils and automatically shuts off, the thermostat will maintain this temperature if the switch remains in the "ON" position.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your tea maker samovar.

• Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the kettle and power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• Glass Kettle and Teapot: These can be hand washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.
• Stainless Steel Filter: Remove tea leaves and rinse the filter under running water. Use a small brush if necessary to remove stubborn residues.
• Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. To descale, fill the kettle with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water. Bring to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes (or longer for heavy buildup). Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly several times with fresh water. You may need to repeat the process.
• Storage: When not in use, store the appliance in a clean, dry place.
