5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

  1. Ensure the mixer's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 5V/1A input on the rear panel of the mixer.
  3. Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.
  4. Turn the mixer's power switch to the ON position. The power indicator light should illuminate.

5.2 Connecting Microphones and Instruments

  1. For microphones, connect XLR cables to the MIC/LINE inputs (CH1-CH8).
  2. For instruments or line-level devices, use 1/4" TS/TRS cables to the MIC/LINE inputs.
  3. If using condenser microphones, activate the +48V Phantom Power switch for the respective channels. Ensure all connections are made before activating phantom power to prevent damage.
  4. For stereo inputs, use channels CH9-10, CH11-12, CH13-14 (L/mono and R).

5.3 Connecting Output Devices

  1. Connect your main speakers or amplifier to the MAIN OUT (XLR or 1/4" TRS) jacks.
  2. For monitoring, connect headphones to the PHONES jack.
  3. Use the AUX SEND outputs to connect to external effects processors or monitor speakers.

The mixer features 99 built-in DSP effects. To use them:

  1. Use the "PROGRAM" knob to select an effect number (1-99) displayed on the digital screen.
  2. Adjust the "FX" knob on each channel to send the desired amount of signal to the effects processor.
  3. Adjust the "FX RETURN" knob to control the overall level of the effects returning to the main mix.

6.4 Bluetooth Connectivity

  1. Press the Bluetooth switch to activate Bluetooth mode. The display will indicate Bluetooth pairing mode.
  2. On your mobile device, search for "WEYMIC" or a similar device name in your Bluetooth settings.
  3. Select the mixer to pair. Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly to the mixer.
  4. Adjust the Bluetooth volume control on the mixer to set the playback level.
