5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
- Ensure the mixer's power switch is in the OFF position.
- Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 5V/1A input on the rear panel of the mixer.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the mixer's power switch to the ON position. The power indicator light should illuminate.
5.2 Connecting Microphones and Instruments
- For microphones, connect XLR cables to the MIC/LINE inputs (CH1-CH8).
- For instruments or line-level devices, use 1/4" TS/TRS cables to the MIC/LINE inputs.
- If using condenser microphones, activate the +48V Phantom Power switch for the respective channels. Ensure all connections are made before activating phantom power to prevent damage.
- For stereo inputs, use channels CH9-10, CH11-12, CH13-14 (L/mono and R).
5.3 Connecting Output Devices
- Connect your main speakers or amplifier to the MAIN OUT (XLR or 1/4" TRS) jacks.
- For monitoring, connect headphones to the PHONES jack.
- Use the AUX SEND outputs to connect to external effects processors or monitor speakers.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Channel Controls
- GAIN: Adjusts the input sensitivity for each channel. Set this to achieve a strong signal without clipping (the SIG/PEAK LED should occasionally flash green, but not red).
- LOW CUT: Activates a high-pass filter to remove unwanted low-frequency rumble.
- HIGH/MID/LOW EQ: Three-band equalizer for adjusting the treble, midrange, and bass frequencies of each channel.
- AUX: Controls the level of the channel signal sent to the AUX SEND output.
- FX: Controls the level of the channel signal sent to the internal DSP effects processor.
- PAN: Adjusts the stereo position (left/right) of the channel signal.
- PFL (Pre-Fader Listen): Routes the channel signal to the headphones for monitoring before the channel fader.
- VOLUME Fader: Adjusts the output level of the individual channel.
6.2 DSP Effects
The mixer features 99 built-in DSP effects. To use them:
- Use the "PROGRAM" knob to select an effect number (1-99) displayed on the digital screen.
- Adjust the "FX" knob on each channel to send the desired amount of signal to the effects processor.
- Adjust the "FX RETURN" knob to control the overall level of the effects returning to the main mix.
6.3 USB Playback and Recording

The mixer's USB interface allows for both audio playback from a USB drive and recording to a computer.
- USB Playback: Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port. Use the integrated controls (play/pause, skip tracks) to manage playback.
- Computer Recording: Connect the mixer to a computer via the USB port. The mixer will function as an audio interface, allowing you to record the main mix into your digital audio workstation (DAW) software.
6.4 Bluetooth Connectivity
- Press the Bluetooth switch to activate Bluetooth mode. The display will indicate Bluetooth pairing mode.
- On your mobile device, search for "WEYMIC" or a similar device name in your Bluetooth settings.
- Select the mixer to pair. Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly to the mixer.
- Adjust the Bluetooth volume control on the mixer to set the playback level.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mixer's surface. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, store the mixer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Dust Protection: The sealed rotary controls are designed to resist dust. However, regular dusting can prolong the life of the unit.
