The Edifier TWS1 Pro 2 earbuds feature a compact design for comfortable in-ear fit. The charging case is designed for portability and provides additional battery life. Each earbud is equipped with touch-sensitive controls for easy operation.

Setup

Initial Pairing

1. Ensure earbuds are fully charged.
2. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing light on the earbuds.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for "EDIFIER TWS1 Pro 2" in the list of available devices.
4. Select the earbuds to connect. Once connected, the light on the earbuds will stop flashing.

Edifier Connect App

For enhanced features and customization, download the "Edifier Connect" app from your device's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store). The app allows you to:

• Customize touch controls.
• Adjust Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) levels and modes.
• Control Ambient Sound Mode levels.
• Access EQ presets for sound customization.
• Enable Game Mode for low latency audio.

Operating Instructions

Touch Controls

The earbuds feature touch-sensitive areas on their outer surface. Controls can be customized via the Edifier Connect App.

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) & Ambient Sound Mode

The earbuds offer up to 42dB of active noise cancellation. You can switch between different ANC levels and an Ambient Sound Mode using the Edifier Connect App or customizable touch controls.

• High Noise Cancellation: Maximum noise reduction for noisy environments.
• Low Noise Cancellation: Moderate noise reduction for less noisy settings.
• Wind Reduction: Minimizes wind noise for clearer audio outdoors.
• Ambient Sound Mode: Allows you to hear your surroundings while listening to audio. Adjustable with 6 levels via the app.

Intelligent In-Ear Detection

The earbuds feature intelligent in-ear detection. Music will automatically pause when you take one or both earbuds out of your ear and resume playing when you place them back in. This feature is highly responsive.

Game Mode

Activate Game Mode via the app or customizable touch controls for ultra-low latency audio, providing an excellent gaming experience by minimizing audio delay.

Charging and Battery

Battery Life

• Earbuds Playtime (ANC Off): Up to 6 hours
• Total Playtime with Charging Case (ANC Off): Up to 24 hours
• Earbuds Playtime (ANC On): Approximately 4 hours
• Total Playtime with Charging Case (ANC On): Approximately 16 hours

Fast Charging

A quick 10-minute charge of the earbuds in the charging case provides approximately 1 hour of playback time.

Charging the Case

Connect the charging cable to the USB-C port on the charging case and a power source. The indicator light on the case will show charging status. A full charge for the case takes approximately 3 hours.

Sound Quality

The Edifier TWS1 Pro 2 earbuds deliver CD-level sound details thanks to their 10mm titanized composite diaphragm. They offer a balanced audio profile with clear mid-range, surging bass, and crisp treble. The sound signature is generally well-suited for various music genres.

Custom EQ

While a full custom equalizer is not available, the Edifier Connect App provides several preset EQ modes to tailor the sound to your preference:

• Classic: A balanced sound profile.
• Pop: Enhanced bass for a more energetic sound.
• Classical: Reduced bass and treble for a clearer, more neutral sound.
• Rock: A dynamic preset that boosts overall sound.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Ensure charging contacts are free of debris.

Water and Dust Resistance (IP54)

The earbuds are rated IP54, meaning they are protected against dust ingress and splashing water from any direction. This makes them suitable for workouts and light rain. However, they are not designed for submersion in water.

Troubleshooting

• No Sound/Connection Issues:
  • Ensure earbuds are charged and the charging case has power.
  • Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your device and "EDIFIER TWS1 Pro 2" is selected.
  • Try resetting the earbuds (refer to the app or full user manual for specific reset instructions).
• Poor Call Quality:
  • Ensure earbuds are clean, especially the microphone areas.
