1. Unpacking and Initial Assembly

Your ENGWE ENGINE X bicycle is pre-assembled to approximately 85%. The remaining assembly steps are straightforward.

  1. Carefully remove the bicycle from its packaging.
  2. Unfold the main frame by releasing the frame latch. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
  3. Install the handlebars: Insert the handlebar stem into the fork tube and tighten the quick-release lever or bolts. Adjust the height to your preference.
  4. Attach the pedals: Note that pedals are typically marked 'L' for left and 'R' for right. The left pedal tightens counter-clockwise, and the right pedal tightens clockwise.
  5. Install the front wheel: Align the wheel with the front fork and secure it using the quick-release skewer or axle nuts. Ensure the brake rotor is correctly seated in the caliper.
