5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.
5.2 Power Supply
The scale can be powered by either the included AC adapter or four 'D' cell batteries (not included).
- AC Adapter: Connect the AC adapter to the power input port on the rear of the scale and plug it into a suitable power outlet.
- Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert four 'D' cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely. The scale offers up to 3000 hours of battery life.
