1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient use of your TECNO Spark Go 2023 smartphone. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating your device to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

3. Setup

3.1. What's in the Box

Verify that all items are present:

• TECNO Spark Go 2023 Smartphone
• 10W Power Adapter
• Type-C Cable
• TPU Cover
• SIM Ejector Tool

3.2. Inserting SIM and SD Cards

The device supports Dual SIM (nano+nano) and a dedicated microSD card slot for expandable storage up to 1TB.

1. Locate the SIM tray on the side of the device.
2. Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray to open it.
3. Carefully pull out the SIM tray.
4. Place your Nano-SIM cards and/or microSD card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts face downwards.
5. Gently push the tray back into the device until it clicks into place.

3.3. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the device.

1. Connect the Type-C cable to the charging port at the bottom of the phone.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the 10W power adapter.
3. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
4. The charging indicator will appear on the screen.

Note: Use only the provided charger and cable to prevent damage to the device.

3.4. Initial Power On and Setup

1. Press and hold the Power button (located on the side) until the TECNO logo appears.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, Google account setup, and security settings.

4. Operating Your Device

4.1. Basic Navigation

• Touchscreen Gestures: Tap, double-tap, swipe, pinch-to-zoom are standard gestures for interacting with the 6.56" HD+ IPS display.
• Home Screen: Access apps, widgets, and notifications.
• Notification Panel: Swipe down from the top of the screen to view notifications and quick settings.

4.2. Calls and Messages

• Making Calls: Open the Phone app, enter the number, and tap the call icon.
• Sending Messages: Open the Messages app, start a new conversation, enter the recipient and message, then send.

4.3. Camera Usage

The TECNO Spark Go 2023 features a 13MP Dual Rear Camera and a 5MP AI Selfie Camera with front flash.

1. Open the Camera app.
2. Select desired mode (e.g., Photo, Video, Portrait, HDR, AI Scene Detection).
3. Tap the shutter button to capture an image or start/stop video recording.
4. Switch between front and rear cameras using the camera switch icon.

Note: The device supports 1080P Time-lapse video recording from both front and rear cameras.

4.4. Connectivity

• Wi-Fi: Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi to connect to available networks.
• Bluetooth: Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth to pair with other Bluetooth devices.
• GPS: Location services are enabled via GLONASS for navigation and location-based apps.

4.5. Security Features

• Fingerprint Sensor: Located on the side, it allows for quick and secure unlocking (0.23s unlock time). Set up in Settings > Security > Fingerprint.
• Face Unlock: Set up in Settings > Security > Face Unlock for convenient unlocking using your face.

• Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset (Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data). Warning: This will erase all data on your phone. Back up important information first.
