4. Controls and Interfaces

Familiarize yourself with the control panel and input/output ports of your karaoke machine.

• Echo Knob: Adjusts the echo effect for microphones.
• Mics VOL Knob: Controls the volume of the wireless microphones.
• Main VOL Knob: Adjusts the overall master volume of the speaker.
• Treble Knob: Controls the high-frequency sound output.
• Bass Knob: Controls the low-frequency sound output.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Karaoke Machine

1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the USB-C port on the karaoke machine.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. The light will change or turn off once fully charged.
4. For optimal battery life, fully charge the unit before first use.

5.2 Installing Batteries in Microphones

1. Unscrew the bottom part of each wireless microphone.
2. Insert two AA batteries into each microphone, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Screw the bottom part back on securely.

5.3 Powering On and Microphone Connection

1. Press and hold the Power button on the karaoke machine to turn it on.
2. Turn on the wireless microphones. They will automatically connect to the speaker. The microphone display will show the connected channel.

5.4 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing (Optional)

To achieve a stereo sound experience, you can pair two XZL PL002-K karaoke machines together.

1. Ensure both karaoke machines are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
2. On one of the machines (this will be the primary unit), double-press the 'Mode' button or a dedicated TWS button if available (refer to your specific unit's button layout). You should hear a prompt indicating TWS pairing mode.
3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
4. Now, connect your Bluetooth device (phone, tablet, etc.) to the primary unit. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Bluetooth Mode

1. Turn on the karaoke machine. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a voice prompt or flashing Bluetooth indicator).
2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "XZL PL002-K" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound. You can now play music from your device through the speaker.

6.2 TF Card / U Disk Playback

1. Insert a TF card or USB flash drive (with MP3 audio files) into the respective slot/port.
2. The machine will automatically switch to TF card or U disk mode and begin playing music. If not, press the 'Mode' button to select the correct input.
3. Use the Play/Pause and Previous/Next buttons to control playback.

6.3 AUX Input

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, computer) to the AUX input port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
2. Press the 'Mode' button until you select AUX input.
3. Audio from your external device will now play through the speaker.

6.4 Microphone and Guitar Use

1. For wireless microphones, ensure they are powered on and connected as described in Section 5.3.
2. For wired microphones or guitars, connect them to the respective 6.35mm input ports.
3. Adjust the 'Mics VOL' knob for microphone volume and 'Echo' knob for echo effect.

6.5 Adjusting Sound Effects and LED Lights

• Use the 'Bass' and 'Treble' knobs to fine-tune the audio output to your preference.
• Press the 'Light Mode' button to cycle through different LED light patterns or to turn them off.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the machine. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, charge the unit regularly, even if not in use for extended periods (e.g., once every 3 months). Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Microphone Batteries: Remove AA batteries from the microphones if they will not be used for a long time to prevent leakage.
• Avoid Water: Do not expose the machine to water or excessive moisture.
