1. Important Safety Information

  • Always plug the fireplace directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. An extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip) should never be used.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • This heater has overheating protection. Overheating protection automatically shuts the heater off if the internal temperature gets too hot.
  • The TURBRO Eternal Flame heater is CSA certified to be safe for use in North America.

4.1. Controls

The fireplace logs can be operated using either the included remote control or the manual control panel located on the unit.

The flame effect can be used independently of the heating function.

4.4. Heating Functions

The infrared quartz heater provides supplemental heat. The heater operates quietly.

  • Activate Heat: Press the Heat button (often marked with a thermometer icon) on the remote or control panel to turn the heater on.
