Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the lifespan and performance of your DEERC H16R RC truck.
- Cleaning: After each use, especially in dusty or dirty environments, clean the truck with a soft brush or compressed air to remove debris from the chassis, wheels, and suspension. Do not use water or chemical cleaners directly on electronic components.
- Inspecting Components: Regularly check for loose screws, damaged parts (e.g., suspension arms, drive shafts, gears), or worn tires. Tighten screws as needed. Replace damaged parts promptly.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a small amount of RC-specific grease to moving metal parts, such as gears and universal joints, to reduce friction and wear.
- Battery Care:
- Always disconnect the battery from the truck when not in use.
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries.
- If storing for extended periods, charge batteries to approximately 50% capacity.
