1. Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective installation, operation, and maintenance of your SuperlightingLED RGB CCT LED Strip Lights. This product features individual RGB, Warm White, and Daylight White LEDs, offering a wide range of color options and adjustable color temperature. Designed with an IP67 waterproof rating, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, excluding underwater use.
2. Safety Information
- Power Supply: Always use a compatible 24V DC power supply. Using an incorrect voltage can damage the LED strip and pose a safety risk.
- Waterproof Rating: The LED strip has an IP67 rating, making it resistant to water drips and splashes. Do not submerge the strip in water. Ensure all connections are properly sealed if used in wet environments.
- Cutting: Only cut the LED strip at designated cut marks. Cutting elsewhere will damage the circuit and render that section unusable.
- Installation: Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and free of conductive materials. Avoid bending the strip sharply, as this can damage the internal circuitry.
- Heat: While LEDs produce less heat than traditional lighting, ensure adequate ventilation, especially when installed in enclosed spaces, to prevent overheating and prolong lifespan.
- Professional Installation: If you are unsure about any installation steps, consult a qualified electrician.
3. What's Included
Your package contains:
- 1 x SuperlightingLED RGB CCT LED Strip Light (16.4ft / 5m, DC24V Waterproof IP67)
Note: A 24V 200W LED power supply and an RGBCCT controller are required for operation and color control, but are NOT included with this LED strip and must be purchased separately.
4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Required Components (Sold Separately)
- 24V DC Power Supply (e.g., 24V 200W for 16.4ft strip)
- RGBCCT Controller (e.g., Remote kit or WiFi controller)
4.2 Preparing the LED Strip
The LED strip features SMD5050 RGB LEDs and SMD2835 Warm White (2800K) and Daylight White (6500K) LEDs. It has a width of 17mm.

Image: Detailed view of the LED strip, highlighting the different LED types (SMD5050 for RGB, SMD2835 for Warm White and Daylight White). It also indicates that the strip is 17mm wide and requires welding after cutting, as standard 6-pin connectors are not suitable.
The strip can be cut at designated intervals of 55.55mm (2.18 inches). After cutting, connections must be welded as standard 6-pin connectors are not compatible with the 17mm width.

Image: This composite image illustrates key features: how to cut the LED strip at marked points, the strong blue backing adhesive for installation, the waterproof tube's width (17.5mm), and the precise cut length (55.55mm).
4.3 Installation Steps
- Prepare Surface: Clean the installation surface thoroughly. Ensure it is dry and smooth.
- Measure and Cut (if necessary): Measure the desired length. Cut the LED strip only at the marked cut lines (every 55.55mm / 2.18 inches).
- Connect Wires: If cutting, carefully weld the appropriate wires to the contact points on the strip. Ensure correct polarity and color coding (typically R, G, B, WW, DW, V+).
- Adhere Strip: Peel off the blue backing from the adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip. Press the strip firmly onto the prepared surface. For enhanced adhesion, especially in outdoor or vertical applications, consider using additional screw-on brackets (not included).
- Wiring Diagram: Follow the wiring diagram below to connect the LED strip to the RGBCCT controller and the 24V DC power supply.

Image: This diagram illustrates the correct wiring sequence for the RGB CCT LED strip system. It shows the AC power input connecting to a 24V DC constant voltage power supply, which then powers the RGBCCT controller. The controller is connected to the RGBCCT LED strip, and a remote control is depicted for wireless operation. Note that the controller and power supply are purchased separately.
- Connect the 24V DC power supply to an AC100-240V source.
- Connect the output of the 24V DC power supply to the input of the RGBCCT controller.
- Connect the output of the RGBCCT controller to the RGBCCT LED strip, ensuring correct wire matching (e.g., V+, R, G, B, WW, DW).
- Ensure all connections are secure and insulated, especially in outdoor environments.
5. Operating Instructions
Once properly installed and powered, the SuperlightingLED RGB CCT LED Strip Lights are controlled via a compatible RGBCCT controller (remote or WiFi). Refer to your specific controller's manual for detailed operation instructions.
5.1 Color Control
The strip features individual RGB, Warm White, and Daylight White LEDs, allowing for extensive color customization:
- RGB Colors: Use the controller to select from 16 million colors by adjusting the Red, Green, and Blue channels.

Image: This image displays the LED strip emitting different RGB colors, including Red (620nm), Pink (370nm), Blue (465nm), and Green (520nm), illustrating the product's capability to produce 16 million colors with 4096 grades of intensity.
- White Light Control: Adjust the color temperature from 3000K (Warm White) to 6500K (Daylight White) using the dedicated white channels.

Image: This image demonstrates the adjustable color temperature range of the LED strip, showing it illuminated in Daylight White (6500K), Natural White (4500K), Warm White (3000K), and a mixed color of Red + Warm White. The range is 3000K-6500K adjustable color temperature.
- Mixed Colors: Combine RGB colors with Warm White or Daylight White to create unique hues and achieve desired lighting effects.
5.2 Brightness Adjustment
The controller allows you to adjust the brightness level of both RGB and white light outputs to suit your preference.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strip with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust or dirt. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the strip is powered off before cleaning.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the strip for any signs of damage, such as cuts, cracks, or loose connections. Address any issues promptly to ensure safe operation.
- Waterproofing: For outdoor installations, regularly check the integrity of any sealed connections to maintain the IP67 rating.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| LED strip does not light up. | No power, incorrect voltage, loose connection, faulty power supply/controller. | Check power supply connection and output. Verify controller is powered. Ensure all wires are securely connected and polarity is correct. Test power supply and controller if possible. |
| Only part of the strip lights up. | Damage to a section, incorrect cut, faulty connection after a cut. | Inspect the non-working section for physical damage or improper cuts. Check connections/welds at the last working segment. |
| Colors are incorrect or inconsistent. | Incorrect wiring to controller, faulty controller, color calibration issue. | Verify wiring from strip to controller matches color channels. Consult controller manual for calibration or reset options. |
| Remote control not working. | Dead battery, out of range, interference, controller not paired. | Replace remote battery. Ensure remote is within range and pointed at the controller (if IR). Re-pair remote with controller as per controller manual. |
