  • Electrical Safety: Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.
  • Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection. Use appropriate safety equipment such as dust masks, non-skid safety shoes, hard hats, or hearing protection when necessary. Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating a power tool.
  • Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.

The nailing depth can be adjusted to ensure nails are flush with or slightly countersunk into the material.

  1. Locate the depth adjustment screws on the nose of the tool.
  2. Use the provided hex wrench to turn the screws. Turning clockwise increases the depth (nails go deeper), and counter-clockwise decreases the depth (nails are less countersunk or proud).
  3. Test on a scrap piece of material to achieve the desired depth before working on your project.
