5. Battery Information and Charging
5.1 Compatible Batteries
The ThruNite Saber is compatible with the following battery types:
- One (1) ThruNite 14500 rechargeable battery (included with some models)
- One (1) standard AA alkaline battery (not included)
- One (1) AA rechargeable NiMH battery (not included)
Using the ThruNite 14500 rechargeable battery provides the maximum output of 659 lumens. Standard AA batteries will provide a lower output of 235 lumens.

5.2 Battery Installation
