- Remove the water tank from the base.
- Fill the tank with distilled or demineralized water up to the 'MAX' indicator. Do not overfill.

- The appliance will begin to heat up. Indicator lights will signal when it is ready for use.
- Press the steam button a few times to prime the system and release any initial steam.

The vertical steam function is ideal for refreshing hanging garments, curtains, or delicate fabrics that cannot be ironed flat.
- Hang the garment on a hanger.
- Hold the iron vertically, a few centimeters away from the fabric.
- Press the steam trigger to release steam and move the iron up and down the garment.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Soleplate:
- Ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool.
- Wipe the ceramic soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary.
- Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the soleplate.
2. Self-Clean Function:

Image: Detail of the steam generator base, showing icons for various functions including "Self Clean".
The appliance features a self-clean mode, recommended after approximately 25 hours of operation, to remove mineral deposits and maintain optimal steam performance.
- Fill the water tank to the MAX level.
- Plug in the iron and allow it to heat up.
- Refer to the specific instructions in your product's full manual for activating the self-clean cycle, as this often involves a dedicated button or sequence.
- During the self-clean cycle, hot water and steam will flush out impurities from the soleplate. Perform this over a sink or basin.
3. Anti-Drip System:
The anti-drip system prevents water from dripping from the soleplate when the iron's temperature is too low. If you notice dripping, allow the iron to heat up fully before using steam.
4. Water Shortage Hint:
The appliance will indicate when the water tank is low or empty, typically via an indicator light or audible signal. Refill the tank as described in the "Setup" section.
5. Storage:
- Unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank.
- Wrap the power cord and steam hose neatly, utilizing the integrated cable storage compartment on the base.
- Store the iron in a dry, safe place, out of reach of children.
