Maintenance
Water Resistance (IPX5)
The Ledwood XTREM140 speaker is rated IPX5, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for outdoor use and resistant to splashes or light rain. It is not designed to be submerged in water. Ensure the charging port and AUX port covers are securely closed when exposed to water.
Cleaning
- Always power off the speaker before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the speaker's surface.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, benzene, or other chemical solvents, as these may damage the speaker's finish or internal components.
Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to charge the battery periodically to maintain its health.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Ledwood XTREM140 speaker, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Speaker does not power on:
Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the USB-C cable and try again after a few minutes. - No sound:
Check if the speaker is powered on and connected via Bluetooth or AUX. Ensure the volume on both the speaker and your connected device is turned up. Verify that the correct input mode (Bluetooth/AUX/USB) is selected on the speaker. - Bluetooth connection is unstable or disconnects:
Ensure the speaker and your device are within the effective Bluetooth range (typically 10 meters) and there are no significant obstacles between them. Try unpairing and re-pairing the speaker with your device. - TWS pairing fails:
Ensure both speakers are XTREM140 models and are powered on. Make sure neither speaker is already connected to another Bluetooth device. Follow the TWS pairing steps carefully, ensuring you initiate pairing on only one speaker. - Poor audio quality:
If using Bluetooth, ensure your device is close to the speaker. If using AUX, try a different 3.5mm cable. Check the audio source for quality issues.
