Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your coffee machine.

Daily Cleaning

  • Portafilter and Filters: After each use, remove the portafilter, discard used coffee grounds, and rinse the portafilter and filter under warm water.
  • Milk Tank and Frother: If using milk, detach the milk tank and rinse it thoroughly. Clean the frother nozzle with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue buildup. The detachable design simplifies this process.
  • Drip Tray: Empty and clean the drip tray regularly.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling

Descaling should be performed periodically, depending on water hardness and frequency of use, to remove mineral deposits. Refer to the full product manual for specific descaling instructions and recommended descaling solutions. Generally, this involves running a descaling solution through the machine's water system.
