Product Features

• Removable & Rechargeable Battery: Features a 1500mAh high-capacity battery with a USB-C charging port. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours. The light operates for 6-48 hours in always-on mode and 20-60 days in auto mode, depending on usage frequency.

Setup

1. Charge the Battery: Before first use, fully charge the detachable battery using the provided USB-C cable. The indicator light will change from red (charging) to green (fully charged).
2. Attach Battery to Light Bar: Slide the charged battery into the designated slot on the light bar until it clicks securely into place.
3. Choose Installation Method:
   • For Metal Surfaces: The light bar has built-in magnets and can be directly attached to any ironwork or magnetic metal surface.
   • For Non-Metal Surfaces: Peel the protective film from the adhesive on the back of the iron sheet clips. Stick the clips to your desired clean, dry surface. Then, magnetically attach the light bar to these clips.
4. Positioning: Place the light in your desired location, such as under cabinets, inside closets, or along stairways. Ensure the motion sensor is not obstructed.

Operating Instructions

The DUSKTEC Motion Sensor Light features two control buttons, S1 and S2, for various functions.

Button S1 Functions:

• Double Tap: Turns the light ON (Always On mode). Double tap again to turn OFF.
• Triple Tap: Activates AUTO mode (Motion Sensor mode).
• Long Press: Adjusts brightness (stepless dimming) from 10% to 100%.

Button S2 Functions:

• Short Press: Changes the light color temperature (3000K Warm, 4000K Natural, 6000K White).
• Long Press (in AUTO mode): Switches between AUTO 1 (PIR motion detection, works all the time) and AUTO 2 (PIR motion sensor & daylight sensor, works only in dark/night). A blue indicator light will confirm AUTO 2 mode.

Understanding Working Modes:

• Always On Mode: The light remains continuously on until manually turned off.
• AUTO 1 (All Day Sensing Mode): The light turns on when motion is detected, regardless of ambient light conditions.
• AUTO 2 (Night Sensing Mode): The light turns on only when motion is detected in a dark environment.
• OFF Mode: The light is completely off and will not activate.

Maintenance

• Charging: Recharge the battery when the light dims or stops functioning. Remove the battery for charging if the light is installed in an inaccessible location.
• Cleaning: Wipe the light bar with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
• Storage: If storing the light for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) and store in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.

Troubleshooting

• Light does not turn on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted. Check that the light is not in OFF mode.
• Short battery life: Battery life varies significantly with brightness settings and mode. Constant ON mode consumes battery faster than AUTO modes. Ensure the light is not in AUTO 1 (All Day Sensing) mode if you only need it at night.
• Motion sensor not working: Verify the light is in an AUTO mode. Ensure the sensor is not obstructed and is within the 16ft/150° detection range. In AUTO 2 mode, ensure the environment is sufficiently dark.
• Light falls from surface: Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry before applying adhesive clips. For direct magnetic attachment, confirm the surface is ferrous metal.
• Light turns off too quickly in motion sensor mode: The light is designed to turn off after 20 seconds of no detected motion. If you remain in the detection area, it should stay on.
