Front Panel Controls:

Setup

Operating Instructions

1. Playing Vinyl Records

  1. Power On: Turn the Volume knob clockwise to power on the unit.
  2. Open Dust Cover: Lift the dust cover.
  3. Place Record: Carefully place a vinyl record on the platter.

  5. Select Speed: Set the Speed Selector to the correct RPM (33, 45, or 78) for your record.
  6. Lift Tonearm: Gently lift the tonearm using the Tonearm Lift Lever.
  7. Position Tonearm: Move the tonearm over the desired starting track of the record.
  8. Lower Tonearm: Slowly lower the tonearm onto the record using the Tonearm Lift Lever. The platter will begin to rotate and playback will start.
  9. Adjust Volume: Adjust the volume using the Volume knob.
  10. End of Playback: When the record finishes, the tonearm may automatically return to its rest position (depending on the model's auto-stop feature). If not, manually lift the tonearm, return it to its rest, and lower the lift lever.
  11. Power Off: Turn the Volume knob counter-clockwise to power off the unit when not in use.

2. Playing Cassette Tapes

  1. Power On: Turn the Volume knob clockwise to power on the unit.
  2. Insert Cassette: Gently insert a cassette tape into the Cassette Player Slot until it clicks into place.
  3. Play: Press the PLAY button on the cassette controls.
  4. Adjust Volume: Adjust the volume using the Volume knob.
  5. Other Controls: Use FAST FORWARD, REWIND, and STOP buttons as needed.
  6. Eject: Press the STOP/EJECT button to stop playback and eject the cassette.

3. Using the USB Function (Playback/Recording)

The PRIXTON VC300 allows you to play MP3 files from a USB drive or record audio from vinyl/cassette directly to a USB drive.

  1. Insert USB Drive: Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the rear of the unit.

    • A worn stylus can damage records and degrade sound quality. Replace the stylus approximately every 300-500 hours of playback, or if you notice a significant drop in sound quality.
  • Record Care: Keep your records clean and free of dust to prolong their life and the life of your stylus. Store them vertically in their sleeves.

Troubleshooting
