Setup Guide

1. Inserting the SD Card

Before powering on the device, insert the provided 64GB Class 10 SD card into the designated slot on the main mirror unit. Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.

2. Mounting the Main Unit

1. Attach the main mirror unit to your vehicle's existing rearview mirror using the provided straps. Ensure it is securely fastened and does not obstruct your view.
2. Adjust the angle of the front camera lens to capture the desired view of the road ahead.

3. Installing the Rear Camera

1. Choose a suitable location for the rear camera, typically above the license plate or inside the rear window. Ensure the view is clear and unobstructed.
2. Securely mount the rear camera using the provided adhesive or screws.
3. Route the 10-meter extension cable from the rear camera to the main mirror unit. Carefully tuck the cable along the vehicle's trim to keep it neat and out of the way.
4. Connect the extension cable to the rear camera input port on the main mirror unit.
5. For parking assist functionality, connect the red wire from the rear camera cable to your vehicle's reverse light power supply. This will automatically display the reverse view when shifting into reverse gear.

4. Power Connection

1. Connect the car power cord to the Type-C port on the main mirror unit.
2. Plug the other end of the car power cord into your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter socket.
3. The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: The device powers on automatically with vehicle ignition. To manually power on/off, press and hold the power button.
• Recording: Recording starts automatically when the device is powered on. A red "REC" icon will indicate active recording.
• Screen On/Off: Tap the power button briefly to turn the screen on or off while recording continues in the background.

Touchscreen Controls

The 10-inch IPS touchscreen allows for intuitive control:

• Swipe Left/Right: Switch between front camera view, rear camera view, or dual view.
• Swipe Up/Down (on live view): Adjust the vertical viewing angle of the camera.
• Tap Icons: Access various functions such as playback, settings, emergency lock, and microphone mute.

Key Functions

• Loop Recording: The dash cam continuously records, overwriting the oldest unlocked files when the SD card is full.
• G-Sensor (Emergency Lock): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will automatically lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten.
• Parking Monitoring: With an optional hardwire kit (ASIN: B0C8CXTZG5), the dash cam can monitor your vehicle for impacts even when parked and the engine is off.
• Adjustable Reverse Line: When in reverse gear, the screen displays the rear camera view with adjustable parking guidelines. Tap and drag the lines on the screen to customize their position for your vehicle.
• Image Switching: The rear camera supports mirror/original image shifting, allowing you to use it as a front camera if desired.
