Setup
1. Unfolding the Tripod Legs
- Gently pull the tripod legs outwards until they click into their first locked position.
- To adjust the leg angle, press the angle adjustment tab located at the top of each leg hinge and move the leg to the desired angle (e.g., wider for lower shots or increased stability). The tripod supports three adjustable angles.
- Extend each leg section by flipping open the quick-lock levers. Extend the sections to the desired height and firmly close the levers to secure them.

3. Horizontal/Overhead Shooting Setup
This tripod features a versatile central column that can be positioned horizontally for overhead or low-angle shots.
- Loosen the central column locking knob.
- Pull the central column upwards until it clears the main tripod body.
- Tilt the central column to the desired horizontal angle (0-120° tilt) and tighten the locking knob to secure it.
- The central column can also be rotated 360° for panoramic adjustments.

4. Detachable Monopod Conversion
One of the tripod legs can be detached and used as a monopod for increased portability and flexibility in tight spaces.
- Identify the leg with the foam grip. This is the detachable monopod leg.
- Unscrew this leg from the tripod body by rotating it counter-clockwise.
- Unscrew the ball head from the central column and attach it to the top of the detached monopod leg.
- Extend the monopod sections to the desired height using the quick-lock levers.

Operating
1. Adjusting Height and Stability
- Leg Sections: The tripod features 4-section legs. Loosen the flip-lock levers on each section to extend or retract the legs. Ensure all levers are securely locked before use.
- Central Column: For additional height, loosen the central column locking knob and raise the column. Tighten the knob firmly once the desired height is reached. The enlarged 28mm diameter central column enhances stability.
- Minimum Height: The tripod can achieve a minimum height of 55cm (21.7 inches) for low-angle shots.
- Maximum Height: The tripod can extend to an impressive maximum height of 230cm (90.6 inches).

- Ball Adjustment: Loosen the main locking knob to adjust the angle of your camera. The oil-free damping design ensures smooth and precise movements. Tighten the knob firmly to secure the camera in position.
- Panoramic Rotation: The base of the ball head features a 360-degree horizontal scale. Loosen the panoramic locking knob to rotate the camera smoothly for panoramic shots.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use, especially if used in dusty or wet environments. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
- Lubrication: The central column and ball head mechanisms are designed for smooth operation. Avoid applying excessive lubricants, as this can attract dust and debris. If lubrication is needed, use a very small amount of silicone-based lubricant on moving parts, avoiding the quick-release plate area.
- Storage: Store the tripod in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Inspections: Periodically check all screws, knobs, and levers for tightness. Use the provided Allen wrenches to tighten any loose components.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Tripod feels unstable or wobbly. | Leg sections not fully extended or locked; central column not tightened; uneven surface. | Ensure all leg flip-lock levers are securely closed. Tighten the central column locking knob. Adjust leg angles for a wider stance on uneven terrain. |
| Ball head movement is not smooth or feels stiff. | Locking knobs are too tight; dust/debris in the mechanism. | Loosen the ball head locking knobs. Clean the ball head area with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid over-tightening. |
| Camera attachment screw loosens occasionally. | Vibration during use; insufficient initial tightening. | Ensure the camera's quick-release plate screw is tightened firmly before use. Periodically check and re-tighten during extended shoots. |
| Leg flip-lock levers feel loose or don't hold securely. | Wear and tear; adjustment screw needs tightening. | Use the provided Allen wrench to adjust the tension of the flip-lock levers. Do not overtighten. If severely worn, contact customer support. |
