Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, fire, and injury, this product must be used in accordance with the following instructions.

• Always ensure the electric underblanket is unplugged when not in use or before cleaning.
• Do not use with an infant, a child, an incapacitated person, a paraplegic, a quadriplegic, a diabetic, a person sensitive to heat, or anyone who cannot clearly understand the instructions and/or operate the controls.
• Do not use if wet.
• Do not use with pointed objects.
• Do not use if folded, rucked, or creased.
• Do not use if the power cord or plug is damaged. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Avoid direct contact with the heating surface during use. Ensure other bedding components are placed on top of the underblanket.
• Individuals with pacemakers should not use this product.

Setup and Installation

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the electric underblanket and control unit from its packaging.
2. Positioning: Lay the underblanket flat on your mattress. Ensure it is spread evenly without any folds or creases.
3. Secure to Mattress: The underblanket features elastic straps at all four corners. Secure these straps around the corners of your mattress to keep the underblanket firmly in place.

4. Connect Control Unit: Locate the connector on the underblanket and firmly plug in the control unit. Ensure it clicks into place.
5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord of the control unit into a suitable electrical outlet.
6. Cover with Bedding: Place your fitted sheet and other bedding on top of the electric underblanket. The underblanket is designed to be used underneath your regular bedding.

Operating Instructions

The REDKEY electric underblanket offers flexible temperature and timing settings for your comfort.

1. Power On/Off: Press the ON/OFF button (power symbol) to turn the underblanket on or off. The LED display will illuminate when powered on.
2. Adjusting Temperature:
   • Press the Temp button to cycle through the 7 temperature levels (1-7). Level 1 is the lowest heat, and Level 7 is the highest.
   • The current temperature level will be shown on the LED display.
3. Setting Automatic Shut-off Timer:
   • Press the Time button to set the automatic shut-off timer. You can select a duration from 1 to 9 hours.
   • The selected time will be displayed on the LED.
4. Switching Between Temperature and Timer Display: Long press the Time and Temp buttons simultaneously for approximately two seconds to switch between displaying the set temperature and the remaining timer duration on the LED.
5. Automatic Temperature Reduction: To prevent the risk of burns, the electric underblanket automatically reduces the temperature to Level 5 after 2.5 hours of continuous operation at Temperature Level 6 or 7.

Care and Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and safe operation of your electric underblanket.

1. Before Cleaning: Always disconnect the control unit from the underblanket and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Detaching Control Unit: The control unit is removable. Gently pull the connector to detach it from the underblanket.
3. Washing: The underblanket is machine washable.
   • Wash at a water temperature below 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle.
   • Do not bleach.
   • Do not iron.
   • Do not dry clean.

4. Drying:
   • Line dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting. Ensure the underblanket is completely dry before reconnecting the control unit and using it.
   • Do not use clothespins or clips that could damage the internal wiring.
5. Storage: When not in use, store the clean and dry underblanket in its original storage bag in a cool, dry place. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of it to prevent damage to the heating elements.
