Setup and Installation
Before installation, ensure the solar panel has been exposed to direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours to fully charge the internal battery. It is crucial to remove the protective film from the solar panel before first use to ensure optimal charging efficiency.
Installation Methods:
- Using Screws (Included): For a secure and permanent installation on walls, fences, or other surfaces. Use the provided screws and wall plugs.
- Using Double-Sided Tapes (Included): For quick and easy installation on smooth surfaces without the need for tools. Peel and stick the adhesive pads to the back of the light and then to the desired surface.
- Using Rope (Not Included): For temporary or non-damaging installation, you can fasten the light with a rope around a pole or similar structure.

Operating Modes
The solar motion lights feature a mode switch button on the front, below the motion sensor, allowing you to select from three distinct lighting modes. Out of the box, the default setting is OFF. Press the button to cycle through the modes.

Mode Descriptions:
- Mode 1: Medium Long Light Mode
When it gets dark, the light will turn on at approximately 30% brightness and stay on continuously throughout the night, without motion detection. Press the mode switch button once to activate this mode. - Mode 2: Dim Light Sensor Mode
When it gets dark, the light will stay at a dim brightness (approximately 10%). When motion is detected, the light will brighten to 100% for 20 seconds. After the motion stops, it will return to the dim 10% brightness. Press the mode switch button a second time to activate this mode. - Mode 3: Strong Light Sensor Mode
When it gets dark, the light remains off. When motion is detected, the light will turn on at 100% brightness for 20 seconds. After the motion stops, the light will turn off completely. Press the mode switch button a third time to activate this mode.
To turn the light OFF, press the mode switch button a fourth time after Mode 3.
Maintenance
The CLAONER Solar Motion Lights are designed for outdoor use and are built with durable ABS material and an IP65 waterproof rating, ensuring resistance to various weather conditions including rain, snow, and sleet.

Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean solar panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
- Placement: Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive direct sunlight for the majority of the day to optimize performance. Avoid shaded areas.
Troubleshooting
- Light does not turn on at night:
- Ensure the light is in an active mode (Mode 1, 2, or 3) and not in the OFF state.
- Verify the solar panel is receiving sufficient direct sunlight during the day (at least 6-8 hours).
- Check for any obstructions blocking the solar panel from sunlight.
- Confirm the protective film has been removed from the solar panel.
- Motion sensor not detecting:
- Ensure the light is in Mode 2 or Mode 3, as Mode 1 does not use the motion sensor.
- Check for any obstructions in front of the motion sensor.
- Verify the detection range and angle are suitable for your needs (16-26ft, 120°).
- Light is dim or short-lived:
- The battery may not be fully charged. Ensure adequate sunlight exposure.
- Clean the solar panel to improve charging efficiency.
- Consider the ambient temperature, as extreme cold can affect battery performance.
