4. Setup and Installation
The Emporia Vue 3 is designed for installation within the circuit panel of most homes. It supports single-phase, single-split phase, and 2-wire systems. For 3-wire systems or 3-phase, 4-wire Wye systems with earthed (TN or TT) neutral (no-Delta), an additional 200A sensor may be required (sold separately).
4.1. Pre-Installation Checklist
- Ensure the main power to your electrical panel is turned OFF before proceeding.
- Confirm you have the necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, multimeter for safety checks).
- A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with an internet connection is required for monitoring.
