Controls and Connections

Setup

1. Placement

Place the Klipsch The Three Plus speaker on a stable, flat surface. For optimal sound, ensure it is not obstructed and has some space around it.

2. Power Connection

  1. Connect the included power cable to the AC IN port on the rear of the speaker.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a wall outlet.

3. Initial Power On

Once connected to power, the speaker will enter standby mode. Use the input selector on the top panel to turn the unit on and select your desired input.

Operating

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Select the Bluetooth input on the speaker using the input selector. The Bluetooth indicator light will begin to flash.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Klipsch The Three Plus" from the list. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will turn solid.
  4. You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device. The Bluetooth 5.3 technology allows for a range of up to 40 feet (approximately 10 meters).

Connecting a Turntable (Phono/RCA Inputs)

  1. Connect your turntable's RCA output cables to the RCA inputs on the rear of The Three Plus speaker.
  2. If your turntable has a ground wire, connect it to the GND terminal on the speaker.
  3. Ensure the PHONO/LINE switch on the rear panel is set to the appropriate position for your turntable (PHONO for turntables with a built-in pre-amp, LINE for turntables requiring an external pre-amp or those with a line-level output).
  4. Select the RCA input on the speaker using the input selector.

Enhance your experience by downloading the Klipsch Connect App from your device's app store. The app allows you to:

  • Adjust EQ settings to customize your sound.
  • Save your favorite audio presets.
  • Access future firmware updates for improved performance and features.

Broadcast Mode

The newly integrated Broadcast Mode allows you to wirelessly connect 10 or more individual Klipsch The Three Plus speakers to create a seamless, encompassing multi-speaker sound experience. Refer to the Klipsch Connect App or Klipsch website for detailed instructions on setting up Broadcast Mode.

USB-C Connectivity

The USB-C port on the rear panel can be used for audio playback from compatible devices and for reverse charging of small devices.
