Maintenance and Care
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures (below 0°C or above 45°C).
- Do not disassemble, crush, or puncture the battery.
- Keep the battery contacts clean. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe them if necessary.
- Use only the provided charging cable or a compatible Canon LC-E6E charger.
- If the battery will not be used for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% before storage and recharge every 3-6 months to maintain optimal performance.

Troubleshooting
- Battery Not Charging:
- Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the battery and the power source.
- Verify that the power source (wall adapter, power bank) is functioning correctly and provides at least 5V/2A output.
- Check the charging indicator light on the battery; it should be red during charging. If it's off, try a different cable or power source.
- If using a Canon LC-E6E charger, ensure the battery is properly seated and the charger's indicators are active.
- Camera Not Recognizing Battery / Warning Pop-up:
- This battery is designed with a full decoding chip to prevent such warnings. If a warning appears, ensure the battery is fully inserted and the camera contacts are clean.
- Power off the camera, remove the battery, and reinsert it firmly.
- If the issue persists, contact customer support.
- Short Battery Life:
- Ensure the battery is fully charged before use (green indicator light).
- Battery performance can be affected by extreme temperatures. Operate within the recommended range of 0°C to 45°C.
- High power consumption features on your camera (e.g., continuous video recording, high frame rate shooting, Wi-Fi) will deplete the battery faster.
