3. Product Features

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Initial Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Remove Protective Film: Locate and remove the scratch-resistant protective film from the monitor screen.
  3. Power On Camera: Connect one power adapter to the camera unit's power input port (see Figure 5 for port location) and plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The camera will power on automatically.
  4. Power On Monitor: Connect the second power adapter to the monitor unit's power input port and plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The monitor unit has a built-in 2100 mAh rechargeable battery, allowing for portable use once charged.
  5. Automatic Connection: The camera and monitor are pre-paired at the factory. Once both units are powered on, they should automatically establish a secure 2.4 GHz FHSS wireless connection. You will see the camera's live feed on the monitor screen.
  6. Positioning the Camera: Place the camera in a location that provides a clear view of your baby. Ensure it is out of reach of children and cords are safely secured to prevent strangulation hazards. The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall using the provided screws and expansion plugs.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Monitor Unit Controls

The monitor unit features several buttons for controlling the camera and monitor functions:

  • Power Button: Located on the top right of the monitor. Press and hold to turn the monitor on or off.
  • Menu/OK Button: Used to access the menu and confirm selections.
  • Navigation Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right): Used to navigate through menu options and control camera pan/tilt.
  • Zoom Button: Activates the 2x digital zoom function.
  • Microphone Button: Activates two-way audio communication.
  • Brightness/Night Vision Button: Adjusts screen brightness or toggles night vision mode (if applicable, though night vision is automatic).

5.2 Camera Control (Pan, Tilt, Zoom)

From the monitor unit, you can remotely control the camera's viewing angle:

  • Pan (Horizontal Rotation): Use the Left/Right navigation buttons on the monitor to rotate the camera 355 degrees horizontally.
  • Tilt (Vertical Rotation): Use the Up/Down navigation buttons on the monitor to tilt the camera 120 degrees vertically.
  • Zoom: Press the dedicated Zoom button to activate the 2x digital zoom.

5.3 VOX Mode (Voice Operated Exchange)

The monitor features a VOX mode, which conserves battery life by turning off the screen when no sound is detected from the baby's room. The screen will automatically turn on when the baby makes a sound.

  • The built-in 2100 mAh battery in the monitor unit provides up to 20 hours of monitoring in VOX mode.
  • Refer to the monitor's on-screen menu for options to adjust VOX sensitivity levels.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera and monitor units. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
  • Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, ensure both units are fully charged, then power them off. Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Battery Care: To prolong the life of the monitor's rechargeable battery, avoid fully discharging it frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in constant use.
