7. Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the battery for any signs of damage, corrosion, or loose connections.
- Keep the battery terminals clean and free of debris.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
- Avoid fully discharging the battery for prolonged periods to maximize its lifespan.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Battery not charging | Loose connections, faulty charger, battery temperature too low (without sufficient charging current for heating) | Check all connections. Verify charger functionality. Ensure charging current is sufficient for heating if ambient temperature is below 5°C. |
| Battery not discharging | Over-discharge protection activated, BMS fault | Charge the battery to reset protection. If issue persists, contact support. |
| Bluetooth connection issues | App not updated, Bluetooth disabled, battery too far | Ensure the DC HOME app is updated. Check device Bluetooth settings. Move closer to the battery. |
| Heating function not activating | Insufficient charging current, ambient temperature above 10°C | Ensure the charger provides at least 4A per battery. Heating only activates below 5°C. |
