1. Product Overview

The Goreit G2197 is a high-lumen, rechargeable LED flashlight designed for various indoor and outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, emergencies, and general home use. It features an upgraded XHM77.2 chip for stable and strong light penetration, capable of illuminating large areas or focusing on distant objects. This flashlight also includes an intelligent mode memory function, a dual switch design, and is built with durable, waterproof, and drop-proof materials. A compact UV blacklight flashlight is also included in the kit.

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

To install the battery in the G2197 flashlight:

1. Unscrew the back cover of the flashlight.
2. Insert the powerful battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
3. Screw the back cover on tightly to ensure proper contact and water resistance.

Important: Do not remove the blue packaging from the battery. This packaging is part of the battery's design and should not be separated.

3.2 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the G2197 flashlight. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the flashlight's built-in USB charging interface and a power source (e.g., wall adapter, laptop, power bank). The indicator lights will show charging status and turn green when fully charged. The powerful battery has a built-in protection plate to extend its life and ensure safe charging.

The UV blacklight flashlight is also rechargeable via its built-in battery and USB interface.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Dual Switch Operation

The G2197 flashlight features a dual switch design for intuitive control:

• Function Switch: Controls special modes like Super Bright and Strobe.
• Brightness Adjustment Switch: Cycles through High, Low, and SOS brightness levels.

4.2 Light Modes and Memory Function

The G2197 offers 5 light modes:

• Super Bright
• Strobe
• High
• Low
• SOS

The flashlight includes an intelligent mode memory function. To activate, long press the power button for 3 seconds to turn off the flashlight. The next time you turn it on, it will resume the last used mode, eliminating the need to re-adjust brightness settings.

4.3 Adjustable Focus (Zoom Function)

The G2197 flashlight features an adjustable focus mechanism, allowing you to switch between a wide floodlight beam for illuminating large areas and a focused spotlight beam for long-distance visibility. Simply slide the head of the flashlight forward or backward to adjust the beam.

4.4 UV Blacklight Flashlight Operation

The included 365nm UV blacklight flashlight is lightweight and convenient. It is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery and can provide up to 8 hours of run time on a full charge. Use it to detect pet urine stains, bathroom stains, fluorescents, ringworm, cosmetic fluorescents, and to verify banknotes, passports, and ID cards.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Wipe the flashlight with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5.2 Water and Drop Resistance

The G2197 tactical flashlight is made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with a thick rubber ring, providing IP67 level waterproof, dustproof, and drop-proof protection. While it is highly resistant to water and impacts, avoid prolonged submersion or severe drops to maintain its integrity.

5.3 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the flashlight when the battery indicator shows low power. Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

• Flashlight not turning on: Ensure the battery is correctly installed with the positive (+) end facing the head. Check if the battery is charged.
• Dim light output: The battery may be low. Recharge the flashlight fully.
• Inconsistent operation: Ensure the back cover is screwed on tightly to maintain proper electrical contact.
• UV light not working: Check if the UV flashlight is charged.
