5. Setup

5.1 Wiring the Receiver

Proper wiring is critical for the safe and correct operation of the remote control system. Refer to the wiring diagram below and ensure all connections are secure and match the specified voltage (AC 110V for this model).

  • Lines 1 & 2: Power lines. Connect to the appropriate AC 110V power source.
  • Line 3 (COM): Common line. Connect to the power supply of the remote control. The operating voltage of the power supply and the crane's contactor must be the same.
  • Line 4 (MAIN): Connects to the main contactor coil.
  • Lines 5 & 6 (UP/DOWN): Connect to the up and down contactors.
  • Lines 7 & 8 (EAST/WEST): Connect to the east and west direction contactors.
  • Lines 9 & 10 (SOUTH/NORTH): Connect to the south and north direction contactors.
  • Lines 11 & 12 (R1/R2): Connect to spare one and spare two-way contactors.
  • Line 13 (R3): A backup point. Connect if needed for additional functionality.

5.2 Pairing the Transmitter and Receiver

Follow these steps to pair your transmitter with the receiver:

  1. Power on the receiver. The receiver's indicator light will be red.
  2. Install batteries into the transmitter.
  3. Press and hold the black pairing button on the receiver for 3 seconds until the red and green lights on the main board of the receiver flash alternately.
  4. Turn the emergency stop button on the transmitter to the 'ON' position (untwist it).
  5. Press the 'UP' and 'DOWN' buttons on the transmitter four times each (e.g., UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN). The indicator lights above the transmitter buttons will flash alternately.
  6. Press the 'START' button and the 'DOWN' button on the transmitter simultaneously.
  7. The receiver's lights will stop flashing alternately, indicating successful pairing. The transmitter's status light will turn solid green.

6. Operating Instructions

Once the system is properly wired and paired, you can begin operation.

  • Emergency Stop: The red mushroom-head button. Press to immediately cut power to the crane. Twist to release.
  • Start Button: The green button. Press to activate the system after releasing the emergency stop.
  • Directional Buttons: Use the arrow buttons (UP, DOWN, EAST, WEST, NORTH, SOUTH) to control the movement of the crane or hoist.
  • LED Indicators: The transmitter is equipped with LED lights that indicate its operating status (e.g., power, signal, battery).
