Important Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or exposure to excessive microwave energy.
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open as this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy.
- Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
- Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven door closes properly and that there is no damage to the: (1) Door (bent), (2) Hinges and latches (broken or loosened), (3) Door seals and sealing surfaces.
- The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly qualified service personnel.
- Ensure proper grounding to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Do not use the microwave for purposes other than heating food.
- Always use microwave-safe cookware.
- Supervise children closely when the microwave is in use.
- Do not heat sealed containers, as they may explode.
- Do not overcook food.
- Regularly clean the oven cavity, door, and seals.

Setup and Installation
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the microwave oven from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including the glass turntable and rolling ring.
- Placement: Place the microwave on a firm, level surface that is strong enough to hold the oven and the food you are cooking. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Minimum clearance of 3 inches (7.5 cm) between the other sides and any adjacent wall.
- Minimum clearance of 12 inches (30 cm) above the top of the microwave oven to any upper cabinets.
- The minimum installation height is 3 feet (90 cm).
- Turntable Installation:
- Place the turntable support ring on the oven floor.
- Place the glass turntable securely on top of the turntable support. Ensure it is properly seated in the center hub.
- Power Connection: Plug the microwave oven into a standard 3-prong grounded electrical outlet (120V, 60Hz). Do not use extension cords or adapters.

Operating Instructions
The Chefman Countertop Microwave Oven features a digital control panel for easy operation.

Control Panel Functions:
- Time Cook: Manually set cooking time.
- Power: Adjust power levels (10 levels available).
- Time Defrost: Defrost food based on time input.
- Weight Defrost: Defrost food based on weight input.
- Clock: Set the current time.
- Timer: Use as a kitchen timer (no heating).
- Quick Start (1-6): Press a number (1-6) for instant cooking for that many minutes at full power.
- +30s: Adds 30 seconds to cooking time with each press.
- Express Cook Presets:
- Popcorn
- Potato
- Pizza
- Veggies
- Beverage
- Leftovers
- Eco Mode: Reduces energy use by shutting off the LED display when not in use.
- Mute Function: Press and hold '8' for 3 seconds to silence beeps and alarms. Repeat to turn sounds back on.
- Child Safety Lock: Press and hold 'STOP/CANCEL' for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate. This prevents the microwave from being started.
- Memory Function: Save frequently used settings for quick access.
Basic Cooking Steps:
- Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
- Close the microwave door securely.
- Select desired cooking function (e.g., Time Cook, Express Cook, or Quick Start).
- Adjust time and power level as needed.
- Press 'START/+30s' to begin cooking.
Multiphase Cooking:
The microwave supports two different cooking cycles for one food. Program the first cooking phase (time and power level), then program the second phase. The microwave will automatically switch between phases.

Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning the Interior: After each use, wipe the interior with a damp cloth and mild soap. For stubborn stains, a microwave-safe cleaner can be used.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Turntable Care: The glass turntable is removable and dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
- Door Seals: Regularly inspect the door seals and sealing surfaces for any damage or food residue. Clean them thoroughly to ensure proper closure and safe operation.

Troubleshooting Guide
