Setup

1. Desktop Installation

  1. Place the telephone unit on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Connect the coiled handset cord to the designated port on the telephone unit and to the handset.
  3. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the LINE port on the telephone unit.
  4. Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your wall telephone jack.

2. Wall-Mounted Installation

  1. Identify a suitable location on the wall for mounting.
  2. Securely attach the wall-mounting bracket (if included and separate) to the wall using appropriate screws (not included).
  3. Attach the telephone unit to the wall-mounting bracket, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
  4. Connect the coiled handset cord to the designated port on the telephone unit and to the handset.
  5. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the LINE port on the telephone unit.
  6. Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your wall telephone jack.

Operating Instructions

Making a Call

  1. Lift the handset.
  2. Listen for a dial tone.
  3. Dial the desired telephone number using the keypad.
  4. Wait for the call to connect.
  5. To end the call, place the handset back on the cradle.

Answering a Call

  1. When the telephone rings, lift the handset.
  2. To end the call, place the handset back on the cradle.

Using One-Touch Dial Buttons (M1, M2, M3)

The HT20-3B features three programmable one-touch dial buttons (M1, M2, M3) for frequently called numbers.

Programming One-Touch Dial Buttons:

  1. Lift the handset.
  2. Press the STORE button (if available, or refer to specific model instructions for programming mode).
  3. Press the desired one-touch dial button (M1, M2, or M3).
  4. Dial the telephone number you wish to store.
  5. Press the STORE button again to save.
  6. Place the handset back on the cradle.
