Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Speedo TR2 Ergometric Treadmill. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the equipment.

The Speedo TR2 is a foldable ergometric treadmill designed for home use, featuring a 1.75HP DC motor, manual incline, and a maximum speed of 10 km/h. It includes a full LCD panel, cell phone holder, and water bottle holder for a comfortable workout experience.

Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.

  • Ensure the treadmill is placed on a flat, stable surface.
  • Keep children and pets away from the treadmill during operation.
  • Do not operate the treadmill if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it has been dropped or damaged.
  • Wear appropriate athletic footwear.
  • Use the safety key at all times.
  • Unplug the treadmill when not in use or before cleaning.

Assembly

The Speedo TR2 treadmill requires some assembly. A toolkit for assembly is included. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

Assembly Steps:

  1. Unpack all components and verify against the included components list.
  2. Attach the uprights to the base frame using the provided bolts and tools.
  3. Secure the console to the top of the uprights.
  4. Connect any necessary cables between the console and the main unit.
  5. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely before use.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview:

The LCD panel displays key metrics such as speed, distance, calories burned, heart rate, and time. It also features 12 pre-set programs.

Starting a Workout:

  1. Ensure the treadmill is plugged into a 220 Volt power outlet.
  2. Attach the safety key to your clothing and insert it into the designated slot on the console. The treadmill will not operate without the safety key.
  3. Step onto the treadmill belt.
  4. Press the START button to begin. The belt will start moving at a low speed.
  5. Adjust the speed using the SPEED + and SPEED - buttons.
  6. To select a program, press the PROGRAM button and use the speed buttons to navigate through the 12 available programs.

Manual Incline Adjustment:

The Speedo TR2 features manual incline adjustment. To change the incline:

  1. Stop the treadmill and unplug it from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the incline adjustment mechanism at the rear of the treadmill base.
  3. Adjust the incline to your desired level by manually lifting or lowering the rear of the running deck and securing it with the adjustment pin/knob.
  4. Ensure the incline is securely set before resuming your workout.

Folding and Storage:

The treadmill is foldable for easy storage and features transport wheels.

  1. Ensure the treadmill is stopped and unplugged.
  2. Lift the running deck until it locks into the upright position.
  3. Use the transport wheels to move the treadmill to a suitable storage location.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Speedo TR2 treadmill.

Cleaning:

  • Wipe down the treadmill surfaces with a damp cloth after each use.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Belt Lubrication:

The running belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and extend its lifespan. A sample lubricant silicone is included.

  1. Unplug the treadmill.
  2. Loosen the belt tension bolts slightly if necessary to lift the belt.
  3. Apply a thin layer of silicone lubricant to the underside of the running belt, in the center.
  4. Run the treadmill at a low speed for a few minutes to distribute the lubricant.

Belt Tension and Alignment:

Check the belt tension and alignment regularly. If the belt slips or drifts to one side, adjust the tension bolts at the rear of the treadmill.

Troubleshooting
