Introduction

Safety Guidelines

• Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before assembly. Do not use if any parts are missing or broken.
• Assemble the bed frame on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratching.
• Tighten all fasteners securely, but do not overtighten. Periodically check and retighten fasteners as needed.
• Do not allow children to climb or play on the bed frame during assembly or use.
• This bed frame is designed for use with a full-size mattress and a box spring (not included). A 2-inch low profile box spring is recommended.
• Distribute weight evenly across the bed frame. Avoid standing or jumping on the bed.

Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your bed frame. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent damage. Ensure all hardware is accounted for.
2. Attach Side Rails to Headboard: Align the side rails with the pre-drilled holes on the headboard. Secure them using the provided bolts, washers, and nuts. Do not fully tighten yet.
3. Attach Footboard: Connect the other ends of the side rails to the footboard, aligning holes and securing with bolts, washers, and nuts. Once all connections are made, fully tighten all bolts on the headboard, side rails, and footboard.
4. Install Support Legs: Attach the black solid wood block-style legs to the corners of the bed frame. Install the center support legs to the crossbeams as indicated in the diagram. Ensure all legs are securely fastened and provide stable support.

5. Place Wooden Slats: Lay the wooden slats across the bed frame, ensuring they are evenly spaced and rest securely on the support ledges. Some slats may have pre-drilled holes for optional screws to secure them to the frame.
6. Final Check: Confirm all bolts are tightened and the frame is stable.

Usage

This platform bed frame is designed to support a full-size mattress and requires a box spring for optimal support and comfort. A 2-inch low profile box spring is recommended to maintain the bed's aesthetic and functionality. Place your box spring directly on the wooden slats, followed by your mattress.

Care and Maintenance

• Fabric Care: For the gray linen-look fabric, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Blot gently; do not rub. Test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area first.
• Wood Care: Wipe wooden legs and exposed wood surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• General Maintenance: Periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause fabric fading.

Troubleshooting

• Squeaking Noises: Check all bolts and connections. Tighten any loose fasteners. Ensure wooden slats are properly seated and not rubbing against the frame.
• Instability/Wobbling: Verify that all legs are firmly attached and making even contact with the floor. Ensure all frame connections are securely tightened.
• Parts Missing: If any parts are missing upon unpacking, refer to the 'Warranty and Support' section for assistance.
