Introduction

The IMOUMLIVE 8-inch Mini Chainsaw is a lightweight, cordless, and compact electric chainsaw powered by a brushless motor. Safety Information

Setup and Assembly

1. Battery Installation: Ensure batteries are fully charged and properly inserted. Align the battery with the slot at the base of the chainsaw handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
2. Handle/Guard Attachment: The chainsaw comes with a protective guard and an auxiliary handle. Attach these components using the provided screws and screwdriver.
3. Chain Tensioning: Use the included wrench to adjust the chain tension. The ideal tension allows for about 3mm of slack. Turn the tensioner knob clockwise to tighten and counter-clockwise to loosen.
4. Oiling System Setup: Unscrew the cap of the oil reservoir. Use the small funnel to fill the reservoir with appropriate chainsaw bar oil (oil not included). Replace the cap securely. Periodically pump the clear bulb to ensure continuous lubrication of the chain, which extends chain and battery life.

Operating Instructions

1. Starting the Chainsaw: Press the safety button located on the handle with your thumb, then squeeze the trigger to start the chainsaw. The brushless motor ensures a smooth, low-noise start.
2. Cutting Techniques:
   • For tree trimming and wood cutting, apply steady, even pressure.
   • Allow the chainsaw to do the work; do not force it through the material.
   • Be mindful of kickback and maintain a stable stance.
3. Auto-Oiling System: The chainsaw features an upgraded auto-oiling system. Periodically check the oil level and pump the clear bulb to ensure continuous lubrication of the chain, which extends chain and battery life.
4. Stopping the Chainsaw: Release the trigger to stop the chainsaw.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: After each use, clean sawdust and debris from the chainsaw using the provided brush. Ensure the guide bar and chain are free of obstructions.
• Chain Sharpening: Use the included file sharpener to maintain the sharpness of the chain. A sharp chain ensures efficient cutting and reduces strain on the motor.
• Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Charge batteries fully before extended storage. The 21V 3.0Ah batteries are fast-charging and designed for long life.

Troubleshooting

• Chainsaw not starting:
  • Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted.
  • Verify the safety button is fully pressed before squeezing the trigger.
• Chain not cutting efficiently:
  • Check chain tension and adjust if too loose or too tight.
  • Sharpen the chain if it appears dull.
  • Ensure the auto-oiling system is functioning and the reservoir is filled.
• Excessive noise or vibration:
  • Check for loose components or debris in the chain/guide bar area.
  • Ensure the chain is properly seated on the guide bar.
