4. Setup and Installation
Important: Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before starting installation.
- Prepare Mounting Location: Turn off power at the main circuit breaker. Remove the existing fixture (if any) and its mounting hardware from the junction box.
- Install Mounting Crossbar: Attach the provided mounting crossbar to the junction box using the junction box screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Adjust Cord Lengths: Determine the desired hanging height for each of the three pendant lights. Loosen the small screws on the canopy where each cord enters. Carefully pull or push the cords through the canopy to adjust their length. Once the desired length is achieved, tighten the screws to secure the cords. This fixture is compatible with sloped ceilings.
- Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding wires from the junction box using the provided wire nuts.
- Connect the black (Live) wire from the fixture to the black (Live) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the white (Neutral) wire from the fixture to the white (Neutral) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box and the mounting crossbar.
- Mount Canopy: Carefully push the wired connections into the junction box. Align the canopy with the mounting screws on the crossbar and secure it in place with the decorative nuts or screws.
- Install Bulbs and Glass Shades: Screw the E26 base bulbs into the lamp holders. Carefully attach the glass globe shades to the lamp holders according to the product design, ensuring they are securely fastened.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete, restore power at the main circuit breaker.
