Safety Information

  • Always ensure the power supply is disconnected before installation or maintenance.
  • Use only a DC 12V power supply. Ensure the power supply's wattage matches or exceeds the total wattage of the connected LED strip.
  • Do not light the LED strip lights while they are still on the reel. Unroll the entire strip for proper heat dissipation before powering on.
  • While the product is IP67 waterproof, it is designed to resist dust and temporary water splashes. It cannot be used underwater.
  • Avoid bending the strip sharply or applying excessive force, which may damage the internal circuitry.
  • If cutting the strip, ensure proper sealing of the cut end, especially for outdoor or humid environments, to maintain waterproof integrity. Waterproof end caps (ASIN: B0DKJJW31C) are recommended.

Product Features

  • Super Bright Triple Row: 16.4ft (5M) length with 360 LEDs per meter, generating up to 3022 LM per meter.
  • Daylight White 6000K: Provides a crisp, bright white light suitable for various applications.
  • Safe to Use: Operates at DC 12V with very low heat, making it safe to touch.
  • Linkable & Cuttable: Can be cut along designated cutting marks every 9 LEDs (3 rows) for custom lengths.
  • Outdoor Waterproof IP67: Silicone sleeve protection ensures resistance to dust and temporary water splashes.
  • Dimmable: Brightness can be adjusted with a compatible dimmer controller (not included).

Package Contents

The package includes:

  • 1 x 16.4ft (5M) Super Bright Triple Row LED Strip Light (Daylight White 6000K)
  • 6 x Mounting Clips

Note: Power supply and controller are not included and must be purchased separately.

Setup and Installation

1. Preparation

  • Unroll the entire LED strip from the reel before testing or powering on to prevent overheating.
  • Ensure you have a compatible DC 12V power supply and, if desired, a dimmer controller.
  • Plan your installation path and measure the required length.

2. Cutting the LED Strip (Optional)

The LED strip can be cut to your desired length. Look for the designated cutting marks, typically indicated by a scissor icon or a dotted line, every 9 LEDs (3 rows). Cut precisely along these marks.

Important: If cutting the strip for outdoor or humid environments, you must seal the cut end with a waterproof end cap (ASIN: B0DKJJW31C) to maintain the IP67 rating.

3. Wiring Connection

Connect the LED strip to your DC 12V power supply. The strip has two wires for connection:

  • Red wire: Connect to the positive (+) terminal of your 12V power supply.
  • Black wire: Connect to the negative (-) terminal (or 'W' for white light) of your 12V power supply.

If using a dimmer controller, connect the LED strip to the output of the dimmer, and the dimmer to the power supply.

4. Mounting

Use the included 6 mounting clips to securely hold the LED strip in place. Distribute the clips evenly along the length of the strip to ensure stable installation.

Operating Instructions

Once properly installed and connected to a DC 12V power supply, the LED strip lights will illuminate. To control the lights:

  • On/Off: Use the switch on your power supply or an inline switch connected to the circuit.
  • Dimming: If you have installed a compatible dimmer controller (e.g., Button Control or Remote type), use its controls to adjust the brightness of the LED strip.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the silicone surface of the LED strip with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Water Resistance: The IP67 rating protects against dust and temporary water splashes. Ensure all connections and cut ends (if applicable) are properly sealed to maintain this protection, especially in outdoor or humid environments.
  • Heat Dissipation: Ensure the LED strip is installed in a location with adequate airflow to allow for proper heat dissipation, prolonging its lifespan.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
LED strip does not light up.
  • No power to the strip.
  • Incorrect wiring (polarity reversed).
  • Faulty power supply.
  • Damaged LED strip.
  • Check power connections and ensure power supply is on.
  • Verify red wire is connected to + and black wire to -.
  • Test power supply with another device or replace it.
  • Inspect the strip for visible damage.
Some LEDs are not working.
  • Damage to a section of the strip.
  • Improper cutting or sealing.
  • Inspect the non-working section for physical damage.
  • Ensure cut ends are properly sealed if the strip was cut.
Lights are dim or flickering.
  • Insufficient power supply wattage.
  • Voltage drop over long runs.
  • Faulty dimmer (if used).
  • Ensure power supply wattage meets or exceeds the strip's requirements.
  • Consider feeding power from both ends for longer strips or using a higher gauge wire.
  • Test or replace the dimmer.
