Oral-B Pro Series 1 Black Electric Toothbrush User Manual

1. Product Overview

The Oral-B Pro Series 1 Electric Toothbrush is designed to provide a professional clean feeling every day. It features Oral-B's unique 3D cleaning technology, which combines oscillations, rotations, and pulsations to remove up to 100% more plaque compared to a regular manual toothbrush. The integrated professional timer guides you to brush for the dentist-recommended 2 minutes, with a signal every 30 seconds to switch brushing areas. It also includes a gum pressure control feature to protect your gums from excessive brushing force.

4. Getting Started

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the handle to turn the toothbrush on. Press it again to turn it off.

5.2 Brushing Technique

  1. Wet the brush head and apply a small amount of toothpaste.
  2. Place the brush head on your teeth, holding it at a slight angle towards the gumline.
  3. Turn on the toothbrush. Do not scrub; simply guide the brush head slowly from tooth to tooth. The small, round brush head is designed to clean one tooth at a time.
  4. The built-in timer will signal with a short stutter every 30 seconds, indicating it's time to move to the next quadrant of your mouth.
  5. A longer stuttering sound will indicate the completion of the dentist-recommended 2-minute brushing time.

5.3 Pressure Sensor

The Oral-B Pro Series 1 features a gum pressure control system. If you brush too hard, the toothbrush will stop its pulsations to protect your gums from excessive force. Reduce pressure immediately when this occurs.

5.4 Brushing Modes

Your toothbrush offers three easy-to-use cleaning modes:

  • Daily Clean: For everyday cleaning.
  • Sensitive: Gentle yet thorough cleaning for sensitive areas.
  • Whitening: Designed to polish and remove surface stains.

To switch between modes, press the power button repeatedly while the toothbrush is on.

6. Care and Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Toothbrush

  • After each use, rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water with the handle switched on.
  • Remove the brush head and clean the handle and brush head separately under running water.
  • Wipe the handle dry with a cloth.
  • Clean the charging base regularly with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the charging base in water.

6.2 Replacing the Brush Head

Dentists recommend replacing your brush head every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles become splayed or frayed. The indicator bristles on Oral-B brush heads will fade halfway to signal when it's time to replace your brush head.
