4. Product Overview

5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the cash register's power supply port.
  2. Plug the power cord into a compatible AC 90~260V outlet.
  3. Ensure the cash register is placed on a stable surface.

5.2 Loading Thermal Paper

  1. Open the printer cover located at the top of the cash register.
  2. Insert a 58mm thermal paper roll into the compartment, ensuring the paper feeds out from the top.
  3. Close the printer cover securely.

5.3 Cash Drawer Setup

The cash drawer is integrated and secured with a lock. Use the provided keys to unlock and access the cash tray. The tray is removable for easy handling of cash and coins.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Registration (Making a Sale)

To perform a basic sale:

  1. Navigate to the "Registration" page on the display.
  2. Enter the price of the item using the numeric keypad.
  3. Enter the commodity code or select the predefined department (DEPT) for the item.
  4. Press the PLU button.
  5. Press Enter to finalize the transaction and print the receipt.

6.2 Creating New PLUs (Product Look-Up Units)

To create a new PLU:

  1. From the main menu, navigate to the "PLU & Departments" page.
  2. Select the "Create New PLU" option and press Enter.
  3. On the "PLU establishing" page, locate the "Code" field.
  4. Enter the desired PLU number directly.
  5. Press Save to store the new PLU data.

6.3 Other Functions

  • Price Changes: The system supports on-the-fly price adjustments during transactions.
  • Holding Bills: Temporarily hold a transaction.
  • Refunds: Process returns and issue refunds.
  • PC Software Integration: Commodity data can be created or edited via PC software. System configuration can also be modified through PC software for enhanced convenience.
  • Tax Options: Includes TAX, VAT, and GSM tax options to support local tax solutions.
  • Reporting: Users can generate various reports and Electronic Journal (E.J.) entries.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the exterior of the cash register with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the plastic.
  • Regularly clean the thermal printer head to ensure clear print quality. Refer to the printer's specific cleaning instructions if available.

7.2 Paper Replacement

Replace the thermal paper roll when it runs out or when print quality deteriorates. Follow the steps outlined in Section 5.2.
