1. Important Safety Instructions

Before operating your Euhomy Compact Dryer, please read all instructions thoroughly to ensure safe and efficient use. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the dryer is connected to a properly grounded electrical outlet with the correct voltage (120V). Do not use extension cords.
  • Ventilation: Always ensure proper ventilation during operation. The exhaust duct must be clear and unobstructed.
  • Flammable Materials: Do not dry items that have been soiled with flammable substances such as cooking oil, gasoline, or dry-cleaning solvents. These materials can ignite.
  • Lint Filter: Clean the lint filter before or after every load to prevent fire hazards and maintain drying efficiency.
  • Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the dryer during operation. Do not allow them to play on or in the appliance.
  • Overload Prevention: Do not overload the dryer. Refer to the capacity guidelines for optimal performance and safety.
  • Certification: This appliance is ETL and DOE certified, ensuring compliance with safety and energy efficiency standards.

3. Setup and Installation

The Euhomy Compact Dryer offers versatile installation options to fit various living arrangements.

Installation Types:

  • Rack Mounted: Can be placed on a sturdy rack or countertop.
  • Wall Mounted: Can be mounted on a wall using the provided hanging brackets and screws (templates and expansion nails not included).
  • Stacking: Can be stacked on top of a compatible washing machine.
  • Side By Side: Can be placed next to other laundry appliances.

Exhaust Duct Connection:

The dryer comes with an exhaust fitting and exhaust pipe. Connect the exhaust pipe to the fitting at the rear of the dryer and direct the exhaust outdoors or into a suitable ventilation system to prevent moisture buildup.

4. Operating Instructions

The Euhomy Compact Dryer features a simple control panel with a timer knob and mode selection.

Loading the Dryer:

  • Open the dryer door. The dryer automatically stops when the door is opened.
  • Load clothes loosely into the drum, ensuring not to exceed the maximum dry load capacity of 6.5 pounds. Overloading can reduce drying efficiency and potentially damage the appliance.
  • Close the dryer door firmly.

Drying Modes:

Select the appropriate drying mode using the control knob based on your laundry type and desired dryness level.

  • COOL DOWN (0-20 minutes): Provides a cool air cycle, ideal for fluffing items or reducing static.
  • WARM (30-120 minutes): Standard drying with warm air, suitable for most everyday garments.
  • HOT (120-200 minutes): High heat drying for larger items or loads requiring more intense drying.
  • ANTI-WRINKLE (30-60 minutes): A specialized cycle to minimize wrinkles in clothes.
  • AIR DRY (0-80 minutes): Uses ambient air without heat, suitable for delicate items or refreshing clothes.
  • INTELLIGENT: The dryer adjusts heating time based on detected humidity levels in the clothes.
  • ECO MODE: Energy-saving mode, starting with 150 minutes of cold air followed by 120 minutes of hot air. Note: Opening and closing the door in ECO mode will not affect the remaining time unless the power is unplugged.

Starting and Stopping:

  • After selecting the mode, the dryer will begin operation.
  • To stop the dryer during a cycle, simply open the door. The machine will pause. Close the door to resume (unless in ECO mode, where it continues the set time).
  • It is recommended to allow the dryer to rest for 1 hour after long working hours to extend its lifespan.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your dryer.

Lint Filter Cleaning:

The lint filter is located at the back of the dryer drum. It is crucial to clean this filter before or after every load.

  • Reach into the drum to locate the circular lint filter.
  • Remove the filter by pulling it out.
  • Remove accumulated lint and debris. You can use a dryer sheet or a soft brush to clean it thoroughly.
  • Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinserting it.
  • Properly reinsert the lint filter back into its position.

General Cleaning:

  • Wipe the exterior of the dryer with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Periodically check the exhaust duct for any blockages and clean as necessary.

6. Troubleshooting

This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter with your Euhomy Compact Dryer.

Lint trap is difficult to access/clean.Design specific to model.The lint trap is located at the back of the drum. While it requires reaching inside, it is designed for effective lint collection. Clean it regularly as instructed in Section 5.
