Safety Information

Please read the following instructions carefully before using your smart mug to prevent any harm to your body and avoid damage to the product.

• Do not place the mug in a microwave oven or dishwasher. Do not store it in the refrigerator.
• Avoid hitting or dropping the mug as it may damage the internal sensor, which can affect temperature measurement accuracy.
• The mug is waterproof and can be hand-washed, but do not submerge or soak it in water. After cleaning, ensure the mug is thoroughly dried before placing it back on the charging coaster.
• When filling the mug with hot water, keep it out of the reach of children to prevent burns.
• Do not clean the mug with steel wool, abrasive sponges, bleaching agents, or any corrosive acid-alkali solvents as these may cause the coating to peel off or damage the internal components.
• When handling the mug and opening the lid, exercise caution due to potentially hot contents.

Setup

1. Cleaning: Open the lid and wash the mug thoroughly with warm water and mild soap before first use. Ensure the mug is completely dry before proceeding.
2. Charging to Full: Connect the Type-C charging cable to the 20W power adapter, then plug it into a power outlet. Place the mug onto the charging coaster. The LED lights on the mug's base will illuminate to indicate charging status. A full charge is indicated when all green lights remain solid. This may take 70-85 minutes with a 20W adapter.
3. Pouring Your Drink: Once charged, simply pour your desired hot beverage into the mug. The mug will automatically activate heating if the liquid temperature is below the set point.

Operation

Manual Control

1. Power On/Off: Press and hold the button located at the bottom of the mug for 2 seconds to power it on or off. The mug will vibrate once to confirm.
2. Set Temperature Manually: While powered on, press the button once to increase the temperature by 10°F. Double-press the button to decrease the temperature by 10°F. The temperature cycles between 100°F and 150°F. After 3 seconds without a press, the mug vibrates twice to indicate the temperature has been set.

App Control with Smartphone

For enhanced control and features, download the 'Smart Mug' app.

1. Download the App: Search for 'Smart Mug' on the Apple App Store (for iPhone) or Google Play Store (for Android). Download and install the app.
2. Connect via Bluetooth: Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and location services are enabled. Open the 'Smart Mug' app and click 'Unconnected' to search for nearby devices. Select 'SmartMug_M14' from the list to connect.
3. Set Temperature: Once connected, you can use the app interface to precisely set your desired temperature by sliding the temperature dial. The mug will begin heating to the selected temperature.
4. Preset Temperatures: The app allows you to save favorite temperature presets for quick selection.
5. Health Management: Track your daily beverage consumption through the app's health management feature.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Mug: Hand wash the mug and lid with warm water and mild dish soap. Do not submerge the mug in water or place it in a dishwasher.
2. Drying: After washing, thoroughly dry the mug, especially the bottom area, before placing it back on the charging coaster or storing it.
3. Cleaning the Coaster: Wipe the charging coaster with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse it in water.

Troubleshooting

• Mug not heating: Ensure the mug is fully charged and properly placed on the charging coaster. Check if the power adapter and cable are securely connected. Verify the desired temperature is set via manual control or the app.
• App not connecting: Make sure Bluetooth and location services are enabled on your smartphone. Ensure the mug is powered on. Try restarting the app or your phone.
• Temperature inaccuracy: Avoid dropping the mug, as this can affect the internal sensor. Ensure the mug is clean and dry.
• Mug turns off unexpectedly: The mug has a dry-heating protection function and will turn off if there is no liquid inside. Ensure there is sufficient liquid in the mug.
