3. Setup and Installation

The Confortotal Mini Split system is designed for straightforward installation, though professional assistance is recommended for optimal performance and safety.

3.1 Pre-Installation Considerations:

  • Location: Choose a suitable location for both indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper airflow and drainage.
  • Power Supply: Verify that a dedicated 110V power supply is available.
  • Line Set: The unit comes with a pre-charged line set and communication cable, ready for connection.

3.2 Installation Steps (Overview):

  1. Mount the indoor unit securely on an interior wall.
  2. Install the outdoor unit on a stable, level surface or wall bracket.
  3. Connect the pre-charged line set and communication cable between the indoor and outdoor units. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  4. Purge air from the system using the provided service ports. This is crucial for efficient operation.
  5. Connect the power supply to the outdoor unit.

4. Operating Instructions

Your Confortotal Mini Split system can be controlled via the included remote control or through its Wi-Fi connectivity for smart home integration.

4.1 Remote Control Functions:

The remote control allows full command over your unit's settings. Ensure batteries are installed correctly (battery pack included).

  • Power Button: Turns the unit ON/OFF.
  • Mode Button: Cycles through operating modes: Auto, Cool, Dry, Heat, Fan.
  • Temperature Adjustment: Use the UP/DOWN arrows to set your desired temperature.
  • Fan Speed: Adjusts the fan speed (Auto, Low, Medium, High).
  • Swing: Controls the vertical louver movement for optimal air distribution.
  • Sleep Mode: Adjusts temperature automatically for comfortable sleep and energy saving.
  • Timer: Set the unit to turn ON/OFF at specific times.
  • Temperature Unit Change (Fahrenheit/Celsius): To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, press and hold both the "Temp +" and "Temp -" buttons simultaneously on the remote control. The display on the indoor unit will update accordingly.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Air Filter Cleaning:

Clean the air filters every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality. Dirty filters can reduce cooling/heating efficiency and airflow.

  1. Turn off the unit and disconnect power.
  2. Open the front panel of the indoor unit.
  3. Remove the air filters.
  4. Clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner or wash them with lukewarm water and mild detergent.
  5. Allow filters to dry completely before re-installing.
  6. Close the front panel.

5.2 General Cleaning:

  • Wipe the indoor and outdoor unit surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

6. Troubleshooting
