3. Setup Guide

3.1 Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge your headset. The headset can be charged using the included desktop charging stand or directly via the USB-C port on the headset.

• Connect the charging stand to a power source using the provided USB cable.
• Place the headset onto the charging stand, ensuring the contacts align. The LED indicator on the headset will show charging status.
• Alternatively, connect the USB-C charging cable directly to the headset's USB-C port and a power source.

3.2 Connecting to Devices

The headset offers multiple connectivity options for seamless integration with your devices.

• PC/Mac (via USB Adapter):
  • Insert the BT700 USB-C Bluetooth adapter directly into your computer's USB-C port. If your computer only has USB-A ports, use the included USB-C to USB-A adapter.
  • The adapter's LED will flash blue, then turn solid blue when connected to the headset.
• Mobile Device (via Bluetooth):
  • With the headset powered on, slide the Power switch to the Bluetooth icon and hold until you hear "pairing" and the headset LEDs flash red and blue.
  • Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device and select "Poly VFocus 2" from the list of available devices.
• Corded USB Mode:
  • Connect the USB-C charging cable directly from the headset to your computer's USB port. The headset will function as a corded USB headset.

• Long-pressing the Teams button will raise your hand in a Teams meeting. Long-pressing again will lower your hand.
