3. Setup Guide

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future shipping.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash the jars, lids, and blades with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
  3. Placement: Place the motor base on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure it is away from heat sources and water.
  4. Assemble Jar:
    • For the glass jar, ensure the blade assembly is securely attached to the bottom.
    • For the stainless steel jar, ensure the blade is correctly seated.
  5. Attach Jar to Base: Place the desired jar onto the motor base, aligning the bottom of the jar with the coupler on the base. Twist gently until it locks into place.
  6. Secure Lid: Add ingredients to the jar. Place the lid onto the jar and twist clockwise until it clicks securely into position. The digital control panel will illuminate, indicating it's ready for operation.

4. Operating Instructions

The Faber FPB1800W features a user-friendly digital control panel. Ensure the jar and lid are correctly assembled and locked before starting any operation.

4.1 General Operation

  1. Add Ingredients: Place your desired ingredients into the chosen jar. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
  2. Secure Lid: Place the lid on the jar and twist clockwise until it locks. The control panel will activate.
  3. Select Function:
    • Manual Mode: Use the "TIME" and "SPEED" buttons to adjust blending duration and intensity.
    • Auto-Cook Menus: Press the "MENU" button to cycle through the 6 pre-programmed functions (Juice/Grinding, Smoothie, Milkshake, Batter, Soup, Nut Milk). The selected program will display on the screen.
    • Warm Function: Press "WARM" to activate the heating element for hot soups or to keep contents warm.
    • Washing/Pulse: Use "WASHING/PULSE" for quick bursts of power or for cleaning.
  4. Start/Stop: Press the "START/STOP" button to begin or end the selected operation.
  5. After Use: Once blending is complete, press "START/STOP" to halt the operation. Unplug the appliance before removing the lid and jar.

4.2 Specific Functions

  • Blending Smoothies/Juices: Use the 1.2L glass jar. Select "Smoothie" or "Juice/Grinding" from the menu. For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, and finally harder items or ice.
  • Dry Grinding: Use the 0.8L stainless steel jar for dry spices, nuts, or coffee beans. Select "Juice/Grinding" or use manual speed control.
  • Hot Soup Making: Use the 1.2L glass jar. Add ingredients for soup (e.g., vegetables, broth). Select the "Soup" auto-cook menu. The built-in 850W heater will cook and blend the ingredients to a smooth, hot consistency.
  • Nut Milk: Use the "Nut Milk" auto-cook menu for preparing fresh nut milks.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your appliance.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the blender from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Self-Cleaning (Quick Clean):
    • Add warm water and a drop of dish soap to the jar (do not exceed half full).
    • Secure the lid and place the jar on the motor base.
    • Press the "WASHING/PULSE" button for a few seconds, or run on low speed for 30 seconds.
    • Rinse the jar thoroughly.
  3. Deep Cleaning Jars and Lids:
    • Disassemble the jars and blades (if removable).
    • Wash with warm, soapy water using the provided cleaning brush for hard-to-reach areas.

6. Troubleshooting
