3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Camera Placement

  • Place the baby unit (camera) in a location that provides a clear view of your baby. Ensure it is at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from the baby to prevent entanglement with the power cord.
  • The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted using a compatible 1/4" screw hole bracket (not included).
  • Ensure the camera is within the operational range of the parent unit. Obstacles like walls can reduce the effective range to approximately 15-20 meters.

  • Connect the parent unit (monitor) to a power outlet using its dedicated power adapter. The parent unit has a built-in rechargeable battery for portable use, but it should be charged before first use.

3.3 Initial Pairing (if necessary)

The cameras and monitor are typically pre-paired. If pairing is required or you are adding additional cameras:

  1. Turn on both the parent unit and the baby unit(s).
  2. Access the 'Camera Management' or 'Pairing' menu on the parent unit.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate pairing. This usually involves pressing a pairing button on the baby unit within a specific timeframe.

Important Note: This device does not use Wi-Fi and is not compatible with mobile phones. It operates on FHSS 2.4G technology for a secure, private connection.
