Setup
1. Power Connection
- Connect the provided power adapter to the DC input jack on the back of the clock.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard 110V or 220V AC wall outlet. The clock is compatible with both voltages.
- The LED display will light up, indicating the clock is receiving power.
2. Installing Backup Batteries (Optional)
For time and alarm settings retention during a power outage, install backup batteries.
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the clock.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- Note: Backup batteries only maintain time and alarm settings; they do not power the display or alarm functions during a power outage.
Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Time
- Press and hold the CLOCK button until the hour digits begin to flash.
- Press the HOUR button repeatedly to adjust the hour. Observe the PM indicator if setting a PM time.
- Press the MINUTE button repeatedly to adjust the minutes.
- Press the CLOCK button again to confirm and save the time. The digits will stop flashing.
2. Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2)
The clock features two independent alarms.
- Press and hold the AL 1 button (for Alarm 1) or AL 2 button (for Alarm 2) until the alarm hour digits begin to flash.
- Press the HOUR button to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press the MINUTE button to set the desired alarm minutes.
- Press the AL 1 or AL 2 button again to confirm the alarm time.
- Immediately after setting the alarm time, press the AL 1 or AL 2 button repeatedly to cycle through alarm modes:
- Buzzer: Alarm will sound with a buzzer.
- Radio: Alarm will turn on the FM radio to the last tuned station.
- OFF: Alarm is deactivated.
- The corresponding alarm indicator (Alarm 1 or Alarm 2) will light up on the display when an alarm is active.
3. Using the FM Radio
- Press the SOURCE button to switch to FM radio mode. The frequency will appear on the display.
- Manual Tuning: Press the -TUNING+ buttons (< or >) briefly to adjust the frequency step by step.
- Automatic Scan: Press and hold the -TUNING+ buttons (< or >) for a few seconds to automatically scan for the next available station.
- Adjusting Volume: Press the -VOLUME+ buttons (< or >) to increase or decrease the radio volume.
4. Setting Radio Presets (20 Presets)
- Tune to your desired FM station using the tuning buttons.
- Press and hold the PRESET button until the preset number flashes on the display.
- Use the -TUNING+ buttons (< or >) to select the desired preset number (P01-P20).
- Press the PRESET button again to save the station to the selected preset.
- To recall a preset station, briefly press the PRESET button repeatedly to cycle through your saved stations.
5. Snooze Function
When an alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button to temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after this period.
6. Stopping the Alarm
To turn off an active alarm for 24 hours, press the corresponding AL 1 or AL 2 button. The alarm indicator will remain lit, and the alarm will sound again at the same time the next day.
To completely deactivate an alarm, follow the steps for "Setting Alarms" and select the "OFF" option.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Always unplug the clock from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the clock.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
- Avoid getting moisture into any openings of the device.
