4. Setup

2. Attach the footrest to the main chair body.
3. Connect the controller and power cable.
4. Position the chair, ensuring at least 2 inches (5 cm) of space from the wall for the Zero Space recline feature.

5.1. Basic Operation

1. Starting a Massage: Press the power switch to turn on the chair. The display will show the MassaMAX logo. Select an automatic function from the main menu to begin a massage. (Refer to Video 5.1, 0:06)
2. Automatic Body Shape Detection: After selecting a mode, the chair will automatically adjust the backrest and footrest. It will then perform a body shape detection to customize the massage. You can wait for completion or press the 'X' button to skip. (Refer to Video 5.1, 0:22)
3. Shoulder Position Adjustment: After body detection, the chair will beep. If the detected shoulder position differs from your actual position, use the up/down arrows on the screen to adjust it. (Refer to Video 5.1, 0:30)
4. Pause/Continue Massage: During a massage, press the pause button on the screen or side control panel to temporarily stop. Press it again to resume. (Refer to Video 5.1, 0:41)

5.2. Massage Customization

1. Massage Intensity Adjustment: Use the '+' or '-' buttons next to the '4D' icon on the screen to adjust the intensity of the 4D massage rollers. There are 5 adjustable levels. (Refer to Video 5.1, 0:47)
2. Automatic Massage Modes: The chair offers 22 automatic programs categorized under VIP, Healthcare, and Special. Select the desired program from the menu. (Refer to Video 5.1, 0:55)
3. Massage Techniques: In Manual mode, you can select from 6 different massage techniques: Kneading, Tapping, Knead & Tap (simultaneous), Shiatsu, 4D, and Knocking. The speed and width of these techniques can be adjusted. (Refer to Video 5.1, 1:05)
4. Customizing Back Massage Area: In Manual mode, you can customize the massage area to fixed point, local, upper back, lower back, or full back. Use the up/down keys to adjust the roller position. (Refer to Video 5.1, 1:24)

1. Voice Control Function: Click the 'Voice' key on the screen to enable or disable voice control. Once enabled, you can use voice commands like "Hi Alice" followed by commands such as "Massage on" or "Stretch massage." (Refer to Video 5.1, 1:58)
2. Heating Function: Click the 'HEAT' button to turn on or off the Graphene heating function in the lower back area. The heating shawl provides additional warmth to the shoulder, back, waist, and abdomen. (Refer to Video 5.1, 2:19)

5. Bluetooth Connectivity: Click the Bluetooth icon to enable/disable Bluetooth. Connect your audio device to the chair's Bluetooth (e.g., 'Massage') to stream music through the chair's audio system. (Refer to Video 5.1, 3:10)
6. Time Adjustment: Click the time icon to adjust the massage duration. Each press increases the duration by 5 minutes, up to a maximum of 30 minutes. (Refer to Video 5.1, 3:31)
