5. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the speaker and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Placement: Place the speaker on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the supplied power cable to the AC INPUT port on the rear of the speaker (refer to Figure 4.3) and then to a suitable wall outlet.
  4. Power On: Press the Power button (usually located on the top panel or rear) to turn on the speaker. The display will illuminate.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Selecting Input Source

Press the 'MODE' button on the top panel or remote control to cycle through available input sources: Bluetooth, USB, MicroSD, AUX, Guitar, Microphone.

6.2. Bluetooth Connection

  1. Select Bluetooth mode on the speaker. The display will show "BLUE" and an indicator light may flash.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or audio device.
  3. Search for "IBIZA SOUND Lounge 265" (or similar name) in your device's Bluetooth list.
  4. Select the speaker to pair. Once connected, the speaker will emit a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing.

6.3. USB/MicroSD Playback

  1. Insert a USB drive or MicroSD card (with compatible audio files) into the respective port on the top panel (refer to Figure 4.2).
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB or MicroSD mode and begin playback. If not, select the correct mode using the 'MODE' button.
  3. Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Next, Previous) on the top panel or remote to manage your music.

6.4. AUX Input

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, laptop) to the AUX input port on the top panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
  2. Select AUX mode on the speaker.
  3. Control playback and volume from your external device.

6.5. Microphone and Guitar Inputs

  1. Connect a microphone to the MIC input or a guitar to the GT input on the top panel (refer to Figure 4.2).
  2. Adjust the volume for the microphone/guitar using their respective controls, if available, or the main volume.

6.6. Adjusting Audio and Light Effects

  • Volume: Rotate the main VOLUME knob on the top panel or use the volume buttons on the remote control.
  • Bass/Treble: Use the BASS/TREBLE button on the top panel or remote to adjust the low and high frequencies.
  • EQ: Press the EQ button to cycle through preset equalizer modes.
  • Light Effects: Use the light effect selector button (often marked with a sun or star icon) to change or disable the illuminated woofer effects.
  • Recording: The REC function allows recording audio from connected microphones or guitars to a USB drive or MicroSD card. Consult the display for recording status.
  • Repeat: The REPEAT function allows repeating the current track or all tracks in USB/MicroSD mode.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the speaker. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: If storing the speaker for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
