1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Yaheetech Armless Mid-Back Office Chair. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new chair. Please read these instructions carefully before assembly and retain them for future reference.

2. Safety Information

• Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before assembly. Do not use if any parts are missing or broken.
• Follow assembly instructions precisely. Incorrect assembly can lead to instability and injury.
• Do not stand on the chair.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 136 kg (300 lbs).
• Keep children away from the chair during assembly. Small parts may pose a choking hazard.
• Use the chair on a level surface to prevent tipping.
• Regularly check all bolts and screws to ensure they are tight. Retighten as necessary.

3. Package Contents

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically takes 15-30 minutes with two people. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Prepare the Base: Unpack all components. Place the five-star base on a flat, stable surface. Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the base until they click into place.
2. Install the Gas Lift: Insert the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the five-star base.
3. Remove Protective Cap: IMPORTANT: Before attaching the seat, remove the black plastic protective cap from the top of the gas lift cylinder. Failure to do so will prevent height adjustment.

4. Attach the Mechanism Plate: Align the mechanism plate with the screw holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the lever is on the right side when facing the front of the seat. Secure with the provided screws and tighten using the Allen key.
5. Connect Seat to Base: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the center hole of the mechanism plate aligns with the top of the gas lift. Press down firmly to secure.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Yaheetech office chair offers several adjustable features for personalized comfort:

5.1. Seat Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, lift the lever located on the right side of the seat. While seated, lift the lever to lower the seat. To raise the seat, lift the lever while standing or with minimal weight on the seat. Release the lever to lock the height in place. The seat height can be adjusted from approximately 47.5 cm to 57.5 cm.

5.2. Tilt Function and Tension

The chair features a rocking function for relaxation. To activate the rocking motion, pull out the lever on the right side of the seat. Push the lever in to lock the chair in an upright position.

The tilt tension can be adjusted by turning the round knob located underneath the seat. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

5.3. Swivel and Mobility

The chair is designed with a 360° swivel function and smooth-rolling casters, allowing for easy movement and access to your workspace without strain.

6. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your chair:

• Cleaning: The faux leather surface is water-resistant and easy to clean. Wipe spills immediately with a damp cloth. For general cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Inspection: Periodically check all screws and bolts for tightness. Retighten as needed to maintain stability and safety.
• Casters: Keep casters free of hair and debris to ensure smooth rolling.
• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the faux leather to fade or crack.

7. Troubleshooting

• Chair not adjusting height: Ensure the black plastic protective cap has been removed from the gas lift cylinder. Check if the height adjustment lever is fully engaged.
• Chair feels wobbly: Check all assembly screws and bolts. Tighten any loose connections. Ensure the chair is on a flat, even surface.
• Casters not rolling smoothly: Inspect casters for trapped debris (hair, lint, etc.) and clean them.
• Chair squeaks: Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts or connections if persistent squeaking occurs.
