This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Chatthen Tuya WiFi Home Alarm System. This system is designed to provide assistance and peace of mind for elderly individuals and those requiring extra care, offering a reliable way to signal for help within a home environment.
2. Product Components
The Chatthen Home Alarm System includes the following main components:
- Receiver Unit: The main alarm unit that connects to your home WiFi network and emits audible alerts.
- SOS Transmitter Button: A portable, wearable button used to trigger an alarm.
- USB Power Cable: For powering the Receiver Unit.
- CR2032 Battery: Pre-installed in the SOS Transmitter Button.

3. Setup Instructions
- Power the Receiver Unit: Connect the provided USB power cable to the Receiver Unit and plug it into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port. Ensure the unit is placed within range of your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Install the Smart Life/Tuya App: Download and install the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" app on your smartphone or tablet. The app is available on both iOS and Android app stores.
- Connect Receiver to Wi-Fi:
- Open the Smart Life/Tuya app and register or log in.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. Select "Security & Video Surveillance" then "Alarm (Wi-Fi)".
- Ensure the Receiver Unit's Wi-Fi indicator is flashing, indicating it's in pairing mode. If not, refer to the troubleshooting section.
- Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network credentials when prompted. The system only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
- Once connected, the app will confirm successful pairing.
- Pair the SOS Transmitter Button:
- The SOS Transmitter Button comes with a pre-installed CR2032 battery.
- Within the Smart Life/Tuya app, navigate to the Receiver Unit's settings.
- Select the option to add a sub-device or pair a new sensor.
- Press the SOS button on the transmitter. The Receiver Unit will acknowledge the pairing, and the app will display the newly added transmitter.
- Repeat for any additional SOS Transmitter Buttons (up to 200 supported).
- Placement: Position the Receiver Unit in a central location within the home to ensure optimal signal reception from the SOS Transmitter Button. The effective operating range is approximately 70 meters (230 feet) indoors. This system is not suitable for outdoor use.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Triggering an Alarm
- To activate the alarm, simply press the large "CALL" button on the SOS Transmitter Button.
- Upon activation, the Transmitter Button's indicator light will illuminate, and a signal will be sent to the Receiver Unit.
- The Receiver Unit will emit an audible alarm and display "SOS" on its screen.
- Simultaneously, a notification will be sent to your smartphone via the Smart Life/Tuya app, regardless of your location.

4.2 App Functions and Settings
The Smart Life/Tuya app provides comprehensive control and customization options:
- Alarm Notifications: Receive instant alerts on your mobile device when an SOS button is pressed.
- Ringtone Selection: Choose from 5 different ringtones for the Receiver Unit.
- Volume Adjustment: Adjust the alarm volume (e.g., 0dB, 30dB, 60dB, 90dB, 110dB).
- Alarm Duration: Set the length of time the alarm sounds.
- Brightness Adjustment: Control the brightness of the Receiver Unit's display.
- Device Management: View and manage all paired SOS Transmitter Buttons.
- History Records: Access a log of past alarm events.

5. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement (SOS Transmitter Button): The SOS Transmitter Button uses a CR2032 battery. When the battery is low, the indicator light on the button may not illuminate, or the signal strength may decrease. To replace, carefully open the transmitter casing and insert a new CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the Receiver Unit and SOS Transmitter Button. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the Smart Life/Tuya app for any available firmware updates for the Receiver Unit to ensure optimal performance and security.
6. Troubleshooting
