4. Installation Guide
4.1 Before Installation
Ensure your faucet is compatible with the Ibergrif filter system. The package includes 5 different adapters to fit most standard faucets with internal or external threads. This system is not suitable for pull-out, manual, spray, or sensor faucets.

4.2 Installation Steps
No tools are required for installation. Follow these steps:
- Unscrew the existing aerator from your faucet.
- Select the appropriate adapter from the provided set that matches your faucet's thread type and size.
- Attach the chosen adapter to your faucet. Ensure a snug fit to prevent leaks.
- Screw the Ibergrif filter unit onto the installed adapter. Hand-tighten only.
- Turn on the water and check for any leaks. If leaks occur, re-tighten or try a different adapter/gasket.
- Flush the filter with cold water for 5 minutes before first use to remove any carbon dust.

5. Operating Instructions
The Ibergrif Tap Water Filter System features a simple lever or button to switch between filtered and unfiltered water modes.
Water Flow Modes:
- Filtered Water Mode: Use this mode for drinking, cooking, and other applications where purified water is desired.
- Unfiltered Water Mode: Use this mode for washing dishes, cleaning, or other tasks where filtered water is not necessary. This helps to prolong the life of your filter cartridge.

6. Maintenance
Filter Replacement:
The filter cartridge should be replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on your water quality and usage frequency. A noticeable decrease in water flow or a return of unpleasant tastes/odors indicates it's time for a replacement.
- Replacement filters are available under model number M91007-1.
- To replace the filter, unscrew the filter housing, remove the old cartridge, insert the new one, and screw the housing back on. Ensure all seals are correctly seated to prevent leaks.
- After replacing the filter, flush with cold water for 5 minutes.

7. Troubleshooting
