- Rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
- Sit upright with your back supported, feet flat on the floor, and legs uncrossed.
- Place your arm on a flat surface so the cuff is at heart level.
3.2 Applying the Arm Cuff
- Wrap the cuff around your bare upper arm, approximately 1 inch (2-3 cm) above your elbow.
- Ensure the air tube runs down the center of your arm in line with your middle finger.
- The cuff should be snug but not too tight; you should be able to insert two fingers between the cuff and your arm.

3.3 Taking a Measurement
- Press the START/STOP button to turn on the monitor and begin inflation.
- The cuff will inflate, and the measurement will automatically begin. Remain still and silent during the measurement.
- Once complete, your Systolic (SYS), Diastolic (DIA), and Pulse (PUL) readings will be displayed on the screen.
- The monitor will automatically store the reading in the selected user profile (A or B).
- Press the START/STOP button again to turn off the monitor, or it will automatically shut off after 1 minute of inactivity.

3.4 Understanding Your Readings
- SYS (Systolic Pressure): The top number, indicating the pressure in your arteries when your heart beats.
- DIA (Diastolic Pressure): The bottom number, indicating the pressure in your arteries between beats.
- PUL (Pulse Rate): Your heart rate, measured in beats per minute.
- The monitor also features a color-coded indicator on the left side of the display to help interpret your blood pressure level according to WHO guidelines.
- An irregular heartbeat indicator will appear if an irregular heartbeat is detected during the measurement.
3.5 Dual-User Function and Memory
The monitor supports two users (User A and User B), each capable of storing up to 60 readings. To switch between users, press the A/B button. To view past readings, press the MEM button.
3.6 App Synchronization and Data Sharing
Readings automatically sync to the Balance Health app when the app is open and the monitor is connected via Bluetooth. The app allows you to:
- Store unlimited entries.
- Analyze your health data over time with graphs and trends.
- Share your readings with your healthcare provider (the app is HIPAA compliant).
